Hiya everyone!

Im off to the pub tonight with OH so Im wearing:
White cotton t-shirt with multicoloured print and sequins (£14, Next)
Black stretch jeans (Evans, £15 - I bought these when I was away and they are so unbelievably comfy!)
Turquoise and white striped socks with little bows (£3, Top Shop)
Black furry-lined boots (£8, Primark)
Pearl rosary bead necklace (£12, Top Shop Oxford Circus year and a half ago) plus my ring and bracelet that I always wear.
Perfume is Lacoste Touch of Pink and shock horror - I am wearing make up!!! Avon lipstick with gold bits (forget what its called now) and Rimmel Air Whipped Volumising Mascara.
Hope everyone's had a good day!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Hve a nice birthday Mrs Ryan.
Practical day today, needed to be reasonably prsentble but ble to walk, scramble and be windblown. Wanted to fall back on shirt and jumper with jeans and boots and pearls (sloan stanbd by outfit, works with wellies!), but could not find a shirt! So, wore jumper with vest underneath, and jeans, and heavyweight but decorative scarf.0 -
Hiya Peeps!
Due to DD2 showing signs of a brain the size of a planet and the local bear pit/secondary school going into meltdown with the 4th head in 3 years, we found ourselves at the nearest private school's open morning today.
Crept past the rows of Audis, Mercs and the odd Porsche and Range Rover having caught the bus, expecting at any time for there to be a cry of 'Unleash the Hounds' and sprinting to vault the fence. (no sign of a misspent youth there - honest - no apple or cherry trees to scrump from, either)
Tried to not be so conspicuous today - fawn roll neck, stonewashed flared jeans, brown Hush Puppies, toast coloured thick short sleeved wrap cardie. Subtle brown/beige make up, neutral lipgloss, hair half clipped back at nape of neck, slightly pearlescent cream nails.
DDs turned up in their usual gear - DD1 in her black jeans, black/white patterned tunic, jacket, Vans and eyeliner, DD2 in jeans, T Shirt and hoodie. Their only concessions were that DD1 was wearing her own jacket rather than her boyfriend's manky hoodie and DD2 brushed her hair and made sure there were no stains down her T shirt. (sigh)I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Morning all. I am so tired and severely lacking in movtivation!
Same skinny jeans I've worn most of this week
Long sleeve jersey top/dress (too short as a dress on me) in blocks of autumnul colours- olive green, rich reds etc: ebay £4
Grey suede ankle boots- New Look years ago
And when I go out to meet my friend later I'll be adding mittens in the same colours as my top, heather purple trench coat and probably a scarf.0 -
Good morning! I've been working on my blog all week, my OH (who's a web designer) has promised to make me a pretty banner for it today, so when it's all done I'll pop the link on my profile so you can all come visit me.
So, it's lovely and sunny here today... there's a car boot just down the road from me which starts at 2pm (a MUCH more weekend-friendly time!) so I'm going to pop along to that later, have a mooch round. Other than that, we bought The Office boxset cheap in HMV yesterday, so gonna laze about watching that and eating. The ultimate Sunday!
I'm wearing:
Blue and white long, baggy striped shirt
Black leggings
Black jersey blazer
Grey knee high socks
Black leather riding boots
Natalie Umbruglia (sp?!) is on Something For The Weekend wearing the most fabulous high waisted skirt. Love her!0 -
Ohh I cant wait to see your blog GG, I begged a friend to make my banner, I'm hopeless with things like that
Our weather is much better too, though no boot sales on locally much to my dissapointment, I've recently become desperate with going to some, but I don't drive to have to stick very local!0 -
Happy birthday, Mrs Ryan _party_and can't wait to see the blog, Grammargirl!
Hope everybody is having a fab weekend - I certainly am! Sat with my fingers poised at 9am this morning and managed to get myself Glastonbury tickets.....yipee!!!! They sold out in 6 mins so I'm feeling really pleased with myself. :j
Just back from the bootsale - mostly dodgy-geezer types with conterfeit dvds plus the meat auction man but a found a wonderful house clearance stall selling all manner of goodies - which I'll post on the eBay "Best Ebay, Car Boot and Charity Shop Bargains" thread later for anyone interested.
Today's outfit:
Grey and black leapard print leggings (New Look kids' dept £1.50)
Grey three-quarter sleeve jumper dress (Sample stall £2)
Bone, wood and brass bangles (car boot collection)
Wooden Accessorize rings (Ditto)
Vintage tooled leather cartridge bag (Charity shop £1)
Wooden disc earrings (99p Chinese jewellery shop)
Vintage cowboy boots (Car boot 50p)
Vintage Hermes silk scarf (75p charity shop)
Black vintage oversized sunnies (£1 Charity shop)
Shall spend this afternoon making vintage 1950's souvenir silk scarves into cushion covers ready for when BF finally finishes redecorating the lounge.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, gang!0 -
Goanmad, I'll be lurking around the eBay thread in anticipation later! I never have any bargains to share but I do love to read about them. Although, after my visit to the car boot at 2pm today, maybe I will!0
