Get yourselves up to Liverpool, it's roasting here! Ok, I exaggerate a tad but it's gloriously sunny and I've just unwrapped several layers during my lunchtime walk as I was boiling with them all on.

lostinrates, I'm almost always in jeans. It's all about the tops and acccessories :D

LOL, I know, I know, its just ...not me. I'm not doing brillinatly for tops ATM....

heres's a weird thing, I have two topes from monsoon, very, very similar, one one size smaller than the other. Both have been in a ''need to slim into'' drawer for a while and I pulled one out on Saturday and it was ok, a bit tight, but just about wearable. Then remembered I had the simialr size bigger one, pulle that out and it was FAR too tight. I'm so fed up of different measurements between brands, but even more fed iup with incosistancies within the same shops.

How on earth did I forget about Glastonbury tickets yesterday?! I am so kicking myself right now! Well done Goanmad for getting some, I am officially jealous!

Did a charity shop trawl yesterday and picked up a few bargains, some for keeps, some for ebay, and also found a load of stuff that I'd put to one side for ebay ages ago that I promptly forgot about, so photographed it yesterday and will maybe list tonight. I haven't sold anything for absolutely ages.

Anyway, apathy has set in (must be the weather) so today's outfit is the following uninspiring combo:

    boyfriend slouchy jeans (New Look)
    black vest (M&S)
red checked s/sleeve shirt (New Look)
Fitflop Billows (very cosy & comfy but do nothing for me toning wise)

    Have a good day people.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry, I've been a bit slack with posting lately. So busy at work, and on Thursday my dd (3) came down with tummy bug, followed by a stonking cold. So it's been a delightful weekend and I'm in work for a rest!! I did get lovely cuddles with my 3mth old grand daughter yesterday though - she's delicious.

Goanmad - good luck at hospital. I know it's terriby rude, but can I ask how old you are? It was the talk of bodies that threw me, as I thought you were a youngster lol.

    Today I'm wearing:
purple knitted short sleeve top - Primarni £8
grey high waisted straight skirt - Primarni £13
little black cardie - Laura Ashley, pressie and ancient
    black opaques - Tesco
black mary janes - DP sale £15
various beady black necklaces and bracelets - Primarni and Next
black short sleeved little jacket - Primarni sale £5

    Hmmmm lots of Primark there!!!

After a dull and damp morning, the sun is just coming out.

Off for my annual hospital check-up today, so I should really get changed into a crimplene frock, sensible lace-up shoes and American Tan tights to fit in with the other hip replacement patients - if my consultant has a medical student with him they are speechless when I walk in. :rotfl:

Have a lovely day, gang and keep warm!

Ahaha, sounds like what I was surrounded by in the doctor's waiting room this morning!

Vicki- does your husband have any shirts you could steal? A plain white long sleeve shirt belted at the waist, worn with boots would look fantastic with your jeggings!

Hi Claireac, I'm 42 (43 in December) but going on about 19! I was the youngest total hip replacement ever at our hospital at the grand old age of 39, which makes me a bit of a celebrity when I go back.

Judgejaq, the returned Glasto tickets are going on sale via See Tickets on 5th April '10 at 9am so make sure you make a note in your diary.

Just changed and ready for the hospital. Now I'm wearing:

Black lace mini dress by Monsoon Fusion (£9 Monsoon sale a couple of years ago)
Dark grey wash TopShop Baxter skinny jeans (£1 car boot sale)
Light brown short sleeve batwing cardi labelled "Decadent Warrior" on the sample sticker (Sample sale £2)
Vintage Escada tan suede belt with brass lion heads (10p car boot sale)
Beige stack-heeled knee high platform boots (TopShop sale 3yrs ago £20)
Wood and brass bangles (Car boot collection)
    Wooden rings (Ditto)
Brass dangly earrings (People Tree via Oxfam £3)

Sun's out now but it's still chilly!

Thanks for that Goanmad, will certainly do that and just have to keep my fingers crossed. I think it must have been the fact they were going on sale so soon that threw me.

BTW another 40-something here as well (45 next year). Growing old disgracefully! :rotfl:

Well, if you're lucky enough to get some we'll have to try and meet at Glasto and be very badly behaved 40-somethings together!

Very happy to report that my other hip hasn't deteriorated badly enough to warrant a total replacement on the other side just yet. :j

Good evening to you all! I have a little announcement to make... my blog is up and running! I've popped the link on my profile and would love to see you girls over there - please leave me a comment or two, tell me what you think! My OH didn't quite manage to make the banner for me, I need to souce some images, so it looks a little drab but the content is good. :)

You can see my outfit for today in the flesh on my blog, but here it is...
Floral printed dress (£20, New Look)
    Red tights
    Red cardi
Black waist belt with gold buckle
    Black pumps
    Leather jacket

    Happy Monday! :)
