You'd have thought Tesco would sell them, but here doesn't lol, we're a small store though with not much demand for such things. Am I a geek for knowing how our stock system works?!
We have a Holland and Barret and Julian Graves though, so will go there, I'm lethal in those too shops, so many expensive but yummy temptations!

Morning all,
Another drizzly day here,
Will decide what to wear later.
DB - good luck on the Poppyseed hunt. I am amazed your Tesco don't have them I thought they were an essential!
Queenie, let me know how you get on with your shorts challenge! I really want to get some but like you I think I need to try a lot of styles on. My problem is I'm bigger on the hips so shorts might emphasise that area too much, also being short they might not help that either.
I really want some for when we go camping and to parks where I'd end up flashing everyone in a short skirt or dress!0 -
Alex - you are so right about camera angles!
Have you seen how high I hold the camera on my blog lol!0 -
Vicki- I dont think shorts will emphasise bigger hips, I'm naturally pear shaped and have wider hips, I think a lot of it depends on what style you go for. The advantage of them being back "in fashion" this summer is that there are more styles to choose from than usual. I dont follow trends as such, but if there is something I want anyway, or would buy anyway then I love the extra choice
*will not be indulging in the cycling shorts she keeps seeing everywhere*0 -
For ''pear'' I wish you girls would right ''girl shaped'' or ''woman shaped''. Its what makes us curvy and feminine and I'm amazed how many women don't embrace these angles we don't have in common with our men!
well, I had a migraine overnight. I'm obviously a bit run down ATM. I've done everything I have to d so another lazy morning for me.The weather doesn't help. The cats are getting stir crazy. Its drizzley but dry enough to dog walk this morning, but I felt so grizzly and washed out from overnight migraine I haven't. Two days in a row: poor dogs.

Hello (peeps head round the door to see if a lurker can join in ?
)
I'm hoping you can all help me as I'm having a major wardrobe/self-image/style issue at the moment.
I'm in the process of losing weight (for the umpteenth time !) and I desperately need some advice/guidance as I feel I've lost my way a bit.
I don't even know where to start ! Probably the basics would be good ....... size 16 (almost!), age 35 (so New L**k clothes probably now out - mutton dressed as lamb springs to mind ), red hair, 5ft 7, pear-shaped and large thighs .
I've been picking up things at CS/Ebay/Jumble sales that I wouldn't usually entertain wearing and some have been disastrous while other's I don't think look too bad. I can't seem to find my own sense of style ....... I'm a bit of a walking disaster at the moment ! :rotfl:
So any advice would be very much appreciated. I shall aim to take a photograph of myself this evening and pop on my blog. I absolutely hate my pic being taken but if it helps you wonderful ladies to get a better idea of what might suit me, then so be it.
Thanking you all in advance ..... xx Love all your blogs btw, they're great !:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
From someone who has an apple figure I would tell you to embrace your 'pear shapes' I can't wear belts around the middle, they just don't work on me. If I didn't have boobs I would look like a man.
Anyway LiR hope you feel better.
Today I'm wearing cobalt blue wraparound jumper with hot pink vest top, and blue jeans today. I need to do a dark wash or two. No clean clothes! I've accesorised with silver and abalone (I think) butterfly jewellery. Outfit is boring so I'll blog the jewellery.0 -
