Magpye, your emergency measures sound like mine. I had a hole in a pair of black opaques last week so I coloured my leg in with eyeliner.

I have the best boyfriend in the world - he's just presented me with the boxed set of Mad Men. I missed loads as I was in India and never caught up. I think I know how I'm going to be spending the next few nights!

Your OH is so sweet! I love Mad Men too goanmad, mainly for the outfits and the hair! And I like the sense of optimism and the fact that they haven't really a care, and the fact that it doesn't take 2 incomes to pay the most basic bills, and the fact that we know what's going to happen next (e.g. JFK assassination, feminist revolution, 1968 student riots, man on the moon etc etc) and they don't. Fab! I've missed lots of episodes too but hope to catch them sometime.

Good news, I've got in to my top choice uni conditional of if I get a good reference (which i'm 90% sure I will!) I know i'll be so much happier than where I am now and the course sounds so good. Going to treat myself to Topshop tomorrow.

I want to bake too, but am off cakes and chocolate and everything for Lent (hoping to lose weight as well! WI tomorrow, ooh)

I have done so well on eBay this weekend - sold a few bits, have decent bids on a few others (including an Oasis skirt that it will kill me to part with, it is so divine but too big) and have bought some beautiful things! Photos to come in a minute!

Well I'm exhausted have just got home from my guides meeting, and taken some photos of things to sell, and now am trying not to fall asleep as I have too much to do before tomorrow a whole list.
Am hoping to make time for some baking tomorrow evening before bingo.

Thank goodness I'm not on the 'no buying clothes' challenge!!! :rotfl: The pics came out darker than they were on eBay. The last one is a birdcage necklace with a little bird charm on the chain above the cage, it just looks too cute!
