Hello All!
Just back from a punishing Aquasize class. It's quite humid today and everyone in town was grumpy and irritable so it's nice to be back home for an afternoon of eBaying.
Today's outfit is:
Vintage 1960's lime green tie-neck sleeveless blouse (£1.48 eBay)
TopShop Baxter jeans in pale grey (£1 car boot)
Kate Moss at TopShop waistcoat (over 2 years old, from the first collection)
Vintage grey elasticated belt with rose buckle (charity shop find)
Grey shoe boots with a wooden stack heel (£1 car boot)
Turquoise baroque earrings with lime stones (Mumbai)
Silver rings and bangles (India)
Vintage 1950's gold framed bag with black and yellow rose print (Car boot)
Have a nice day!0 -

I strongly disagree! I love men in hats. I love women in hats. I love hats. I think there is a hat for everyone. we're not used to seeing people in hats anymore, particularly adult men, which influences the eye negatively I think.

Hi Daisybella and LadyM. LadyM, another ebay fiend here! Get yourself carbooting as well - tons of bargains to be had there.
Goanmad, your bootsale bargains are just the best. I'm going to have to start trawling further afield!
Lostinrates, I've done that before and its so infuriating. I once left a bag of shopping behind in M&S - I hope the salmon in it gave whoever did off with it the trots! Husband once managed to leave two bottles of wine behind on the Metro as well - he's never lived that one down.
It' s quite warm and humid here. I've got to nip out shortly to do some shopping, so currently wearing:
Black pima cotton knee length flared dress, 3/4 sleeves from Wall. It's been hanging in my wardrobe for ages, cost about £20 in their sale, just haven't got round to wearing it because I wasn't sure whether it suited me.
Black leggings (v cheap in sale, Tesco)
Not sure what I'm going to put on my feet yet, maybe flat pumps, possibly patchwork high wedge espadrilles (Schuh years ago, £5), and will probably take my massive Hulanicki print canvas bag with me.0 -

I'm a big hat fan too. Especially men in hats and overcoats (I've been watching too many old films)
Sadly I have quite a big head (makes me sound dead attractive doesn't it!) so most hats don't suit me but I've just bought a straw trilby which looks surprisingly nice. It was a complete whim and I've only worn it round the house so far but it cheers me up0 -
I am also a massive hat fan, and am very lucky they suit me. I spent a considerable amount of time in Accessorize at the weekend squeeing over all their new wintry hats!"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

Me too! I'm all fluffy at the sides, rather like a Wogan.
I get your point re the hats. I think that thing that went around a couple of years back, where every 19 year old in Shoreditch was wearing a cloth cap, did it for me. It did nothing for me as a look and it used to look dreadful on 90% of the boys wearing them.
I shall have to broaden my search and try a few different styles!I'm a big hat fan too. Especially men in hats and overcoats (I've been watching too many old films)
I do like a good overcoat. I'm also a big fan of those big button, belted raincoats that seem to be doing the rounds at the moment. Very stylish. I like stuff with a bit of shape and structure to it."I'm not a one-trick pony. I'm not a ten-trick pony. I'm a whole field of ponies - and they're all literally running towards this job."
An utter berk, 2010.0 -

Me toowhere every 19 year old in Shoreditch was wearing a cloth cap, did it for me.(DH has to be wary of black hats with brims)
