Welcome back, Sharron! Hope you had a great holiday.
I'm not really one for fashion rules but my mum's always said that if you wore it the first time round it's not a good idea to repeat it a second time 'cos you just look like you're stuck in a time warp. That's why I'm avoiding any 1980's gear!0 -
sharron, I vote no to the t-shirt! Not cos I hate the purple one
but due to your vow of no-clothes-buying!!! Sorry xo

DH is inbetween hair lengths too now, his hair grows fast, but mainly upwards. He looks a bit like an ancient toothbrush ATM. :rotfl:

OK, I have a confession. I have a terrible t shirt bought as a teen with a palomino horse on it. Tacky, tasteless and never ever worn outside the house, but now nicely worn and thin (I hate thick t shirts). I would quite lierally take it off and be seen topless rather than be seen by other than family with it on. But.....even though I shouldn't I love it. And its perfect when we're slouching in front of tv, or curled up in bed, or requiring layers in winter.
Its only the no clothes buying thing that makes me hesitate in saying buy it You could always do the hoiusework in your Prince t shirt listening to 80s hits or Prince.0 -

Hello everyone, I have never seen this thread before and being as though I love clothes and buying them I thought I would say hello so hello.
I have an obsession with buying clothes have wayyy to many but I keep on buying them.
I was thinking of selling some of my clothes on ebay, but they are not designer or anything, do you think people would still buy them?

*waves at Vicky* I'm not an ebay expert by any means but I think people will buy pretty much anything!lostinrates wrote: »OK, I have a confession. Doesn't everyone own something they'd never ever ever wear out in public? I hope so anyway - I don't want to be the only one to confess! I can't reach the heights of palomino pony tshirts (although I did have loads of those jumpers with embroidered horses on the front in my youthful days when I worked at a riding school) My shameful item of clothing is a really manky fake Reebok grey marl jumper from about 1987 that I nicked off my Dad - it's so cosy I can't bear to bin it even though it was probably way past its best about 20 years ago

Morning all. I own loads of slouchy clothes bought purely for lounging around the house. The latest addition to my comfy clothes collection is a pair of cashmere harem pants my OH's sister brought me back from America (they're Gap). She bought a pair herself and said they were the most comfortable things she'd ever worn, so knew I'd like them!
They're a light grey colour, gorgeously soft and so, so comfortable. But they look absolutely ridiculous! The crotch is somewhere near my ankles and they make me hips look really wide. I wear them with cotton tees, longline cardis and fluffy socks in the house. I'd never venture out in them!
I also wear leggings with knee high socks in a variety of colours around the house. Again, would never rock this look outside!
Anyway, here's today's:
Dark denim skinny jeans (Gap, £40)
Long, loose black and white striped cotton tee (Primark, £4)
Navy cardi
Grey plimsolls
Chunky gold beads
I'm having an off day. My outfit feels uninspired. Never mind, tomorrow will be better!0 -

studded sandals- £7 New Look
