Hi all. Hope you're all safe and sound at home and NOT out in the hideous weather. My OH is still at work and I'm worried about his journey back. It's stopped here but it's below freezing and very dangerous out there.

I left work at 1pm but unfortunately had a little bump in my car on the way home so it took forever. People should NOT slam their brakes on in this weather! :(

    Hello everyone

Not posted on here before but thought I'd join you. One of my aims for this year was to have a kind of revamp of my wardrobe and my style as have been stuck in a bit of a rut. Am trying to lose weight so don't want to buy too many new clothes at the moment so am experimenting with accessories to give my outfits a bit of va va voom. Bought a few items of jewellery in the Dorothy Perkins sale, chunky or long colourful necklaces which are totally not what I would usually go for.

Today at work I wore my usual black whie leg trousers which I live in with a red v neck top and a black cardigan but added a long silver necklace with red, silver and pewter beads on it. Wasn't sure as I was stepping out my comfort zone but had about five compliments so must've done something right! I think I may go out and but a few more chunky items of jewlellery in the sale in different colours to give me a boost until I choose to buy some new clothes.

    Dressed for warmth today too!

Black and white tweed effect trousers
    White long sleeve T
    Black v neck jumper
    Black chunky heel ankle boots
    Thick socks
Black cardi for wearing ontop of jumper but under coat for the walk from where I park the car to work
    Black wool winter coat
    Black leather gloves
    Pink scarf

I'm home now and I was mad keen on going to the gym tonight but I struggled to get my car up the hill to get home and going to the gym would involve going down and back up the same hill, and its icier now.

Hope you all had a good not too cold day.

Aww :( it could be stress, I often end up sick before appointments.
I'm not much looking forward to my blood tests, too many things potentially wrong right now!
    But...
we can either be brave together and get it over with
(and then reward ourselves with a small treat?!)
or sit and cry and panic.

I vote we be brave and it'll soon be over.

Hi everyone. After my bump yesterday I decided to work from home this morning. It's so beautiful outside - snow is much more fun when you don't have to go anywhere! I'm planning a walk to the post office at lunch time just to enjoy the snow.

    Anyway, today I'm wearing:

Peachy jersey dress with black lace detail
    Black leggings
    Black polo neck
Black knee high socks with polka dot bows
    Big cream ring

And when I go out I'll add wellies, a cardigan, my parka, a hat, gloves, scarf and earmuffs! :)
