I'm in PJs now as my walk didn't help, and I still feel sick. Ugh.
    But, I have soup
and ingredients to make vegetable and chick pea soup tomorrow :D

Oh poo, I just wrote a reply and then managed to delete it!

Mariel, I know what you mean about being unphotogenic. I just can't smile naturally if I know I'm having my pic taken and I just end up looking deranged!

    Piratefairy, outfit sounds just fab.

DaisyB, sounds like you could do with some homemade chicken soup (unless you're a veggie, in which case a big bowl of lentil soup and some crusty bread).

Well, we still have heaps of snow here, there's no sign of it going anywhere and apparently there's more on the way tonight. I brought my camera to work with every intention of going out to take some pics, but just couldn't face going out. I'm too cosy and snug in my little room here.

    Currently wearing lots of layers!
    thermal camisole (M&S)
long sleeved, long uneven hem grey tshirt (TKMaxx)
charcoal grey fine knit sweater (Wall)
black leggings over black wool tights (Tesco & John Lewis)
Nganjo Ugg-style boots - much better quality than Ugg Australia, thick proper soles and sheepskin is twice as thick. Lovely and toasty warm!

JJ know what you mean about being unable to smile.

I just can't do the natural teethy happy happy smile that most people seem to be able to do for photos. I always seem to look like im attempting to smirk or thoroughly miserable!

Snow looks like it is going nowhere here, and Mr Weatherman says it is going to be -16 tonight eeek :S

  • Hello everyone, happy new year :)

I've been trying to catch up on everything I've missed but in the meantime I hope you are all okay. After a long time of unhappiness I finally seperated from my husband before christmas. Very sad but am now relishing the new year and the new start. Including a new years resolution to take more care of my appearance as I get happy again, so hopefully posting on here will help.

Been working from home today so have gone for warmth:
    dark blue skinny jeans (topshop)
    black vest top (american apparel)
cream and brown striped sleeveless blouse top (Gap)
Black large roll necked poncho style knitted top (one of my two sale bargains yesterday - £10 River Island. I love it, I see myself throwing it over everything)
    cream knitted socks (market)
plaited skinny brown leather belt (charity shop)
    long leaf pendant (accesorize)

I'm going back to read more of this thread and your blogs. Take care x

    Evening all

Still lots of snow and VWRY cold here. As I have had to walk an hour each way to get the train to work I have dressed for comfort and warmth!

    Blue bootleg jeans (River Island)
2 pairs of black socks (Primark)
    Cat boots
    White vest top (asda)
Grey long sleeve ribbed top (DP's)
    Raspberry red cardi (DP's)
Cream fleece for wearing under my coat for the walk!
Brown Rocha John Rocha wool coat.

I was definately toasty warm with all those layers on!

At home now with jogging bottoms, vest top, grey top and cream fleece on and my trusty slanket!
    Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j

    I don't think I'd have the confidence to a blog - I'd worry no-one would read it!

I was at a conference today - wearing black boyfriend cardi (not meant to part of the outfit but it was cold), black and white striped t shirt, black Joseph bootlegs, black pumps. Large bangle, long pearl necklace and usual jewellery.

I don't think it really matters if nobody reads a blog, think of it as your diary and if people do read it is a bonus!
I'm not doing a clothes post today as it is more or less what I wore last night as it was on the floor when I got out of bed at 8am after a 3am bedtime! Sooooo tired.

    Likewise Mariel,
    I don't post for readers/comments, I post for ME

Eek, one of our pipes in the garage (connected to dishwasher) burst. Guess who's house bound tomorrow waiting for plumber to call/hopefully come round?!

I do enjoy reading the blogs from the girls on here, moreso I think because I 'kind of' know you from here! Can't keep up all the time, but do dip in and out. Piratefairy your link isn't in your MSE profile is it? I get to yours through some of the other girl's blogs!

Rainy Wed sorry to hear of your situation. Hopefully now matters have reached to a head, as you say you will be able to move forward positively. Sometimes it's only with the benefit of hindsight that you realise fully how much a situation has been pulling you down. Good luck! New Year new start and the green shoots of a new spring are just around the corner.

You'll notice I've been avoiding the "what I'm wearing" element of this thread for some time, posting about DD and every such subject under the sun.!!!!! Aaaargghh is all I can say! Extra winter pounds piled on and a loathing of these dreary months have left me feeling not so positive about things atm. Don't ask! Roll on the clocks changing, yeah I know at least another 2+ months. My winter-sun hol plan has stalled due to major staff probs at work atm and that's not helped.

Where's my mojo?! Well, I am here and reading and apologies if my posts are only loosely fashion-related atm!

Bronnie- I hope your mojo comes back

(and in writing that, I find myself craving the sweets!)
