    morning all,

sorry to hear abt the doctor's, daisy, hope they manage to get things under control soon..had a voicemail message from mine yday eve to ask me to make an appt as they need to discuss recent test results, so am now worrying, as my results appt wasn't supposed to be for another couple of weeks..trying not to worry too much, though.. :(

grrr @ the snow-panic..i hate the way the country complains how cold the climate is, and then people seem to get suprised when it snows..apparently there were news reports this morning to say there will be a shortage of grit..not that my town isn't already disrupted due to the explosion on sunday..

anyway, as for today's outfit, another of the new tops my dad treated me to last week, this one is a cream jumper with black beading round the top, which i've teamed with a black skirt and tights, and a pair of black irregular choice spider heels and a black/white rose bangle from the new look sale years ago..
i then wore my burgundy velvet coat, from the warehouse sale outlet store @ cheshire oaks when i was in uni..can't remember how much it was, but i've definitely had the wear out of it!

hope everyone has a lovely day, and you aren't too "disrupted" by the snow!

Never mind a shortage of grit... there's a shortage of gas! Now that's scary and for once I'm glad we have an electricity-only flat!

It's horrible, horrible, horrible here. It took me 2 hours to get to work and most people have stayed at home. Thanks for the heads up! Gggrrr. Hoping to set off around 3ish to miss the traffic and further snowfalls predicted for tonight. I'm terrified of getting stuck somewhere! :(

Anyway, I'm so inappropriately dressed - I wasn't prepared for the winter wonderland when I stepped outside!

    Black skinnies
    Pink ditzy floral shirt
    Long sleeved cream tee
    Denim shirt
    Knee length black socks
    Brown studded boots
    Big green scarf

    Very mismatched but never mind!

Typically my car is due it's MOT today, so I HAD to go out in the snow when I didn't really want to!

I am wearing my boyfriend jeans (these are firm favourites now!) , black skinny top and a black boyfriend cardi. I also have leggings on under my jeans as I need to do the school run in a while. Everyday jewellery and a white, black, purple scarf for a bit of colour and warmth!

Hope everything goes ok @PF and @DB

Ok, snow has arrived big time here now. Not amused, though find myself hoping it carries on tomorrow so I have an excuse not to go to my blood tests :p

Brrrrr, it's freezing and properly snowing here so I'm changing my plans for the day and staying in bed with the cat to keep me company. He's already managed to tread on the laptop and do something funny to the screen that I can't work out how to undo.

Snowflake & polar bear pj's, two pairs of socks and an ancient grey Reebok jumper for me today!

    Hope everyone travels safely today.
  • Grrr, in Manchester I have never seen so much snow. It came up to my knees! Went to work but got sent home after 4 hours, took me about an hour to walk home past lots of cars stuck and abandoned, and now my sore throat has become a full on cold, cough and a chest infection is imminent, I get so many these days.

No fashion to report today, nursery uniform followed by pyjamas! Am supposed to be going to see the Sound Of Music tonight in Manchester but there is no chance of getting there with our coach driver cancelling and few trams and no buses running. If anyone happens to know Connie Fisher or anyone in the production please can they beg her to transfer to my tickets to a date with less snow!! Am truly gutted.

That is pants little star!!! I hope they cancel the show then you should get some money back with any luck.

I'm going to my works annual awards dinner tomorrow in Stratford. I have a fab Karen Millen dress (£50 NWT on ebay!) and some gorgeous Next runway shoes - be gutted if I can't go - it's 60 miles away so I will have to wait and see tomorrrow.

I hope both of you get to your events!

We've been predicted 5-10'' snow tonight (bit of a wild guess?! lol) and I'm hoping we don't get it as I NEED to get out, realised as well as bloods, I forgot to pick up my prescriptions today, doh!
