I went for a relatively glamorous start to the new year. Went for breakfast in Wetherspoons with my companion and no children which was lovely.
black jersey and satin beaded dress, very going out-y but it dresses down brilliantly (Next sale £15)
deep magenta polo neck (New Look sale £5)
black diamond opaques (£2 Prinark)
deep magenta heeled boots (£13 Primark)
totally spoilt the effect when I got home by putting on legwarmers (Primark £1.50) and a hand crocheted muticoloured hippy hat (therealiolithie on Etsy, about £8) but it was much more me, I might be tall but elegant really isn't my thing!
Vicki I'm completely jealous of your bargainous baskets!0 -
You never know, echinacea might be on half price in H+B if you're lucky. I used to take a course if I had a lot of spots, cleared them up a treat.0

Daisybella, once you are over the cold don't rule out the tonics designed for older people...Seven Seas B vit tonic, or another one....I can't remember whats its called, but its the nameless one that I use.
It sunds silly but they really an give one a boost if a bit run down...they are a bit sugary though.
I solved my hair dilemma this morning by lutting hair in an updo....its been ages since I put my hair up properly. One last big do tomorrow......I'm feeling partied out...0 -
Is everyone still asleep today?
I'm wearing a black and white striped t shirt, blue jeans, black knee high boots, and a chunky carved black bangle.
I was wearing a blazer when I went out but have switched to a black boyfriend cardi since I got home. Bought some nice bits in Milton Keynes and hardly spent a penny.0 -

lol, I lov this weather, no mud
OK, I have a party tonight and just realised what I've planned to wear is a carbon copy of what I've worn last two times to this place. I'm toying with changing the shoes and keeping the dress the same (was going to wear black dress and Pucci-esque shoes). But I think I migt just wear outfit as planned.....I've painted my toenails for those shoes0 -
Afternoon everyone!!
Its colder than a polar bear's fridge here - brrrrrr!!! Off to work soon - gah.
Today's outfit is:
Plain white cotton t-shirt (£6, Yours in Beaumont Leys Leicester)
Pale blue jeans (Evans Nottingham, £15)
Navy blue hoodie with yellow trim and yellow print (£12, Matalan Derby)
Brown socks with pink polka dot pattern (Primark, £1.50)
and my white and baby blue Nikes.
No jewellery as going to work but today's perfume is CK1.

Daisy....Just jumped in on the thread without reading it allbut would agree with lir. On my mum's advice from years ago, I've always had a bottle of Minadex around the place for DD2, although she's now 21. Despite all the poo-poo-ing about tonics being a waste of money, if she's been under the weather or in the middle of the winter I get her to take it for a week or so and it really does boost her up, she feels the difference less tired and lethargic and the benefit is actually rapidly evident in how she looks. She's healthy, but less robust than 'hale and hearty' DD1 and myself and doesn't have a massive appetite so I'd say WELL WORTH a try, especially at this time of year.
