OK, 3/4 length white trousers....I know, bizarre, but I had to show the doctor my leg and decided the rush from car to surgery in the cold was worth the warmth of keeping trousers on in surgery. Then long grey vest with silver neck line and light grey tracksuit top and white and metallic flats. Murano glass ear studs, wedding ring, noral two bracelets (one wooden, one pearl). Hair is plaited to get it out of the way
Now home have swapped shoes for a huge pair of socks and tracky top for a black cardigan.
However, despite slobby outfit nurse pointed out I smell really good....Thank you Prada! And I'm pleased with make up, a coral lip gloss, blue line of eyeshadow on top lid, purple line botton lid....gave be a skip in my step to feel made up a bit like me for what seems first time in ages.
Tomorrow is going to me a nighmare, after horses have a morning thing, then a lunh thing, can't see how I'll get my hair done between horses and ''social stuff'' and i the weather is like this I'm going to look a mess!0 -
Lost- hurrah for being told you smell nice, I think that's one of my favourite compliments to get
Lazy day for me, and no plans for tonight. I fully intend to snuggle under a blanket and watch Coco before Chanel and The September Issue whilst le parents entertain friends downstairs
I've been feeling really down and anti social lately, and too exhausted to fight it.
Just got dressed after making sweetie bag place settings for parents and friends.
Rock and Roll jumper dress: New Look
Black studded leggings: New Look
Short sleeve thermal under jumper: Peacocks
Over knee boots: Asos (so strange walking in these!)
Enamel penguin charm on long silver chain: Christmas present
+ coat, snood and gloves when I go for my planned walk later. Dad suprised me with £20 yesterday, for no reason at all, so I want to see if I can find a sales bargain or two in the village.0 -

Teabythesea - some of us regular posters have blogs full of pictures of our daily outfits! You can find the links by clicking our usernames and viewing our public profiles.
I would love more people to post pictures in here though, so please do! I'm so nosey!
Anyway, hello everyone. It was my birthday yesterday so am now recovering from a fantastic night and a cold. Boo. Don't think we'll be heading out for NYE as we're both stuffed up and feeling rubbish! Never mind, it's always a let down.
Today I'm wearing:
Skinny jeans
Navy long sleeved tee
Navy and white striped cardi with red buttons
Gold nameplate necklace
Gold crown earrings
Slipper boots (but will slip into my new Steve Madden @ ASOS beauties in a moment!)
LiR, funny you should mention 'easy access for Drs' clothing today - I have an appointment later about a skin complaint on my chest and think it's gonna have to be a zip up hoody with nothing underneath! Better than whipping a t-shirt off, surely?!0 -

Definitely! I had an eek moment last tuesday? when the ringworm:o appeared, and the itch that turned out to be mole....when as I took of my top I relaised I was wearing a t shirt one of the old horses had dribbled sugar beet down, and undertht a very, very disreputable bra I rally shoud throw away but wear to the animals in themorning....but its more hole than bra...:o:o I wish the ground could have swallowed me whole....I explained that I'd strip but prefer to take everything of because I was embarrassed about horse clothes, and they giggled. People are very kind. I think it helps they see me most weeks looking smart and clean and this was just a pop in on very short notice....:o:o
Hope your skin is OK GG0 -
Mariel, you are so clever with you sewing. I'd love a sewing machine but have nowhere to store it, maybe when we get a bigger house!
Daisybella, I know what you mean, I can't be bothered to socialise at the moment as feel grotty and if I didn't have to get up and be a Mum I would be having a duvet day or two as well.
GG - Happy Birthday, I hope you feel better soon xx
LIR, how is the ringworm, does it seem to be getting better?
I've not been posting my outfits recently as I have put on weight over Xmas and now I feel rubbish in everything. I honestly didn't pig out too much, it's never happened before so think it could be my metabolism slowing down. Anyway too fed up to make an effort, but hoping I will snap out of it once NYE is out the way.
Not going out as DH has to work tonight so I am in with Dylan feeling sorry for myself!
Hope everyone else has a good night - your outfits will cheer me up xx0 -

jeans and loads of jumpers and bright red/orange hair:eek: which looks like straw:eek:
I normally am bright copper coloured but trying to find 'ginger' hair colour is getting increasingly hard - it looks hideous!!!
so now trying to find copper coloured hair dye to go back to normal in a couple of weeks.
not a good look - a true bad hair day0 -
Happy New Year to you too Mrs Ryan and to everyone else who has contributed to this lovely thread in 2009!
Wishing you all a peaceful, healthy and happy 2010 !

LIR, how is the ringworm, does it seem to be getting better?
Thanks, yes, its seeming a bit better. I've been told to not use body scrubs while its still in evidence, which I love using, so I'm only doing elbows and knees, but its fading, and not flaky so I could cover it up with makeup if need be. Thankfully it didn't spread anywhere, and DH and the critters are not showing any signs either.
I put on a wee bit over christmas too, despite bing almost inhumanly good,. Thinking about it I'm sure mine is fruitjuice (a calorific luxury) and wine
But its NY, and I always go dry for three months after new year, and only have fruit juice as a treat.0
