Might try and wrap presents later, but it's hard when you have the nosiest mother in Britain...!!!

Ah I know the feeling, except it's my boyfriend who is like that. He's like a 5 year old when it comes to presents (and has already insisted on giving me about half of mine! I'll have nothing left to open at this rate on Friday...). As we're now both off work from today for a week I might have to banish him to the local McDonald's for a few hours if I am going to ever get his presents wrapped.

Alex please no talking of lovely shoe sales! Have located one pair I can't live without, not sure if they'll fit but with free delivery it's prob worth a punt. Only 3 pairs available in size 9 and as usual all really boring so that's saved me from myself!
I'm going to Toys R Us in a bit, my idea of shopping hell but my youngest loves it, mind you she's ten so hopefully she'll be over it soon!

    today's outfit
folky sort of dress I customised to make the skirt full rather than fitted (CS)
    leggings (Primark)
    black leather biker boots (Tesco)
    black angora beret (Tesco)
when I go out I'll wear my vintage astrakhan fit and flare coat (market stall) and black fringed cowl scarf (Primark).

Facebook album up and running now, I hate seeing pics of myself, I look immense but losing weight is so ageing so I can live with it!

Grrr, ringworm confirmed, and also.....I have a suspect mole. :( Can't do anything about it till the new year, I've scratched it..(in my sleep) so they want it to re heal before biopsy (not sure why).

I have no smart trousers at all :( will have to wear opaque tights all week, and keep it covered to avoid giving it to other people. Dotor recommended that DH doesn't sleep with me when he comes home. :(:(:( (he has psoriasis so his skin is vulnerable) and also I've got to see if the cats, who ALWAYS slep with me, and dog-dog, can be convinced to stay on top of covers/sleep with someone else. I have to keep doing the animals at least till Christmas, then I can get dh to do them for a bit, and after that hopefully the worst will have gone.

:( All bareleg/sheer tights wearing is now OUT. :(

Thanks. Feels better after typing. Timing is never going to be great for any ill health, but it could be worse. I am woking for the frst time in years ATM, which should be over by end of Jan/or Feb at the latest, but only have one day that is inflexible.

DH is just suggesting we banadage my leg and I wear socks for the ring worm... W had ring worm once before, in a horse, and nothing else got it, so maybe it is more containable han usually said. In anycase, at the moment I'm checking the med to see if I can have a glass of wine at Christmas and new year or not ...getting my priorities right here.:D

Oh that's def priority!! What lousy timing for you, it sounds like a total pain.

Congrats to GG! :T I got married in June after a 9 month engagement, it was the most fun ever :j.

Well I haven't been on all weekend as spent most of it hungover!! Had a night out with the girls on Friday. Only meant to be a couple of drinks, but we got a bit carried away with the vodka.....and then there was kareoke . Was also out Sat night for dh's works do. So all in all - I'm slightly pickled!!

Today it's cold and icy here - and is snowing. Although is was sleety rain so it's not settling, but I think it's going to be a cold one tonight so tomorrow will be like an ice rink .
    Today I'm wearing:
brown dress with roll neck collar, fitted top and aline skirt - from America via my sister
black opaques - sainsburys (lovely and soft and stretchy!)
brown knee length biker boots - Next
    black woolly scarf - dp's

Hi All, Oh LIR I do feel sorry for you , I have had ringworm twice (from cats we got from a farm on two separate occasions) It's really contagious so try not to share it! I was really embarrassed about telling anyone at work so wore long sleeves through the hottest summer ever, they must have thought I was self harming or something! Worst was trying to get the cats to take the tablets ahhhh.

Today I am wearing a lovely floral tunic (ebay) with my purple leggings and brown long sleeve top, actually wearing wellies as I keep nipping out to the bins but I was wearing heeled brown boots.

Went to a toddler Xmas party this morning and wore a different dress but I got hoummus/snot/banana on it so changed!

Its raining here now so hopefully it will get rid of some of the ice.

My plan of staying in today has been shattered, have to go up to Tesco and meet Mum and help her carry back some milk etc as she still cant get in her car and the roads are too dangerous. Eek.
  • Afternoon all!

In work today, after spending more than two hours in the car to get here, and today's outfit is:

    - Cream wrap dress with swirly orange and blue pattern and blue trim (Joe Browns)
    - Long sleeved scoop neck white top (Dorothy Perkins) under dress
    - Sheer tights (M&S)
    - Brown mid calf flat boots (Rocket Dog)
    - Brown military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
    - Multicoloured stripey scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
    - Usual jewellery (birthday/Christmas/graduation presents from parents and boyfriend)

Hair is straightened then messed up with spray wax, nail polish is Nails Inc South Molton Street and perfume is Marc Jacobs Daisy.

In work until fiveish (possibly earlier if the weather gets worse - no snow since this morning but word is it's due to get worse tonight), then home to exercise, wrap presents and pack for going to my sister's on Wednesday.

    Happy Monday everyone!

Opinions please, I saw this on Fri and was really tempted, but is it too much of a high-impact piece to wear enough to make it worth it?? Also, being Miss S, will everyone and their mum be wearing it come the weekend?? :S
