I so was not naked yesterday, more like too many layers to count as went to see some friends up on a friend's farm where it is even colder! It was heavily snowing up there, madness
(and of course now I've woken to snow here!)
Back later with today's outfit.0 -
Grr....well, be careful out there girls, I have justhad pne of the most terrifying drives of my life, and I've lived and driven in Italy!
It is VERY slippery out there, I slid down a hill in my proper landrover....so what a car would do makes me shudder.
Got home and found out a neighbour needs help getting out later to the hospital so have warned her the LR isa working car and has mud in but will take her out later. As a result I'm staying in the clothes I put on this morning: black velvet trousers, layers of tops and black tracksuit top with a weird fleece neck and head cover in one....ugly but so warm. And two pairs of gloves.....nbut my hands are still burny-cold ....
oh....and I have got ringworm over night...on the front of my leg.....ruinging all plans for what I will wear for net few evenings......
I promise I'm not grubby, I just have a propensity to pick up all minor things like that....so have bandaged my leg to try and protect the nimals from any infection: now is a bad time for us all to get it.....but of course, had egs wrapped round DH all night....so its likely he will:(0 -
I'm not planning on going anywhere today, I'm having a baking day instead.
My Mum however can't get in to her car, it's totally frozen shut, so has had to walk to work, bless her, she doesn't do walking
I hope the ringworm clears up soon Lost,
*would never think you are grubby*, tis one of those things (I have the same tendency to pick up such minor things)0 -
I braved the cold and ice - it was a bit scary but not too bad, we don't get much extreme weather living so close to the coast - and did the Christmas food shopping at 6am this morning. It's the quietest I've ever seen the supermarket

I was well wrapped up and suitably booted as I didn't want to go flying on the ice:
Hiking boots
Jeans -Dotty P's
Cornflower blue vest - Dotty P's
Grey and blue stripy long hoody - George
Cream pashmina
Grey argyle fingerless gloves/armwarmers - Matalan
Navy blue Regatta fleece
Must go and find a slightly dressier outfit now as I'm whizzing into town for a focus group, then back home and out for coffee with the girls from work, then out later on this evening for the pictures. I may need an afternoon nap, I'm already knackered :rotfl:
GG - Congratulations lovely!! And what a beautiful ring!
lir - oh no
Hope it clears up soon.
daisy - what are you baking? I'm always on the scrounge for new recipes
Also, how dare Schuh start their sale already? I've asked for some new IC shoes for Christmas but I gave Mum the choice of several pairs (I like surprises so I don't want to know which ones I'm getting) and now half of them are in the sale! Grr, hope there are still some left by Boxing Day.0 -
Alex- I'm making some more cornish fairings and some shortbread,
recipes is something I'm not short of, so if there is anything you fancy making, drop me a PM and I'll sort you out

Morning all,
A lazy weekend by my standards, was disappointed at how much I slept (4hrs a night is a lot by my standards)..but I obviously needed it..
Today's outfit is a black h&m circle dress with white polka dots, with black opaque tights, a red cardi (h&m) and a pair of white irregular choice heels with red hearts on..and a red bow hairband from topshop..with a red beret and giant vintage fur coat due to the freezing weather this morning..then, as it's almost xmas, my radley explorer bag (only get to use it once a year or so, so i don't really care that it doens't really go!)0 -
Baking ALMOST done, I'm exhausted,
have managed to get dressed though!
Black long sleeve tee- matalan
Grey patterned jersey dress
Red/pink tights
and that's it for now as I'm hot from having the oven on.
Looks like its about to snow again

Hello again everyone.
All this talk of baking is making me want to do some, as of tomorrow I'm off from work so I might have a bit of a cooking marathon if I can actually drag myself out from under my lovely warm duvet!
Today I'm wearing the same boots and jeans as Friday (they are fast becoming my survial clothes for this weather!) with a pair of my boyfriend's thick socks! But my toes are still cold...
I've also got on:
- White loose fitting blouse from FCUK (again bought with my win in the sale)
- Navy cropped cardigan by Marc by Marc Jacobs (£40 from work)
- My cream Asda beanie
I could really do with some arm warmers or thermal gloves...it's so cold in here as my heater isn't working! But then I'd never get any work done...oh well...
I'd love it if it snowed again - I'd just like it to hold off until tomorrow!
Have a good day everyone and keep up the great layering, it all sounds fab.0 -

Afternoon All!
Didn't post an outfit yesterday as I stayed in my Primark pyjamas all day and played Lego Indiana Jones 2 with OH!!! Just could not face the weather, until it got to 4pm and realised I better drive home... horrible horrible weather here in Manchester.
Today am dressed for comfort, not even warmth, but the sun is shining through the window so it's not too bad anyway..
Black 3/4 length sleeve tshirt, Dorothy Perkins
Blue Jeans, Evans
Ecuadorian socks again!!!!!
Might try and wrap presents later, but it's hard when you have the nosiest mother in Britain...!!!OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0
