That's good news then! I haven't even had time to get out my winter wardrobe yet, haven't actually been shopping for about three months!
Today I'm wearing 'flu outfit' for the snow:
Sugar boots (qube)
Leggings (primark)
Moto boyfriend jeans (topshop)
Red vest top (peacocks)
T shirt
Red fleecey fitted jumper (primark)
Will have to go to a meeting later so will wear black pinafore dress with a red jumper, red belt and red tights with black pumps. Possibly a black bangle but I'll see if I can be bothered!Foreign politicians often zing stereotypical tunes, mayday, mayday, Venezuela, neck

 Just had an email from Oasis saying the beret I ordered yesterday is "out of stock"....even though I've just visited their site again and it's still showing as available and letting me put it in the basket and proceed to checkout.
Wondering if it's cos I found a free del code as well as getting it half price and didn't buy anything else.
Or am I (as usual) overthinking this!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
How frustrating Bronnie,
it seems more likely that with (probable) heavier than usual ordering, they've not caught up with inventory, rather than it being because you used the code0 -
That beret is lovely! Shame it's out of stock, I might have to treat myself to one later this week!

Grrr at Oasis about the hat..I hate when that happens, which is why I try to do all my shopping instore, where possible..
Love the lacey vest, Daisy, it makes me think black vest underneath, black leggings and a boyfriend blazer?? Maybe with some lace up shoe boots..
Today is my work's Christmas Lunch, so we're all heading off in about half an hour..Came dressed for the occasion in a blue strapless layered silk/organza prom dress, by eucalyptus..Over that I'm wearing the trusty cropped black blazer, with black tihgts and my favourite shoes of all time, some patent dark blue shoe boots from Topshop..have accessorised with black beads and black rose headband, and a black skinny sequin scarf..pics later hopefully0 -

That sounds brilliant. I might have to nick that idea for the weekend coming up.
Also, does anyone have any clothing ideas for a trip to London the Mon after Xmas? I know it's hard to work out what the weather will be like, but I want something that's going to be comfy yet practical in case it's freezing.
I was thinking skinny jeans with my black Zara boots, but no idea what to wear on top? Or suggest something totally different!Foreign politicians often zing stereotypical tunes, mayday, mayday, Venezuela, neck

I'd go for a longer length jumper
you can layer under it if it's going to be super cold!
Um, oops,
I just "accidentally" ordered a dress to wear Christmas day
At least that solves the panic, eh?!0 -

Its pretty certain to be cold. On top of which long days always seem colder in winter and hotter in summer.
What you wear migh depend on what you are doing. e.g. shopping, if you are going in and out of shops you probably want fewer but warmer layers: going in from the cold street to over heated shops is a pain. (why do they over heat shops???).0 -
Thanks lostinrates and daisybella! It's just so hard to know what to wear, we could have a mild winter, it could be sub zero from now until March. And you're so right lostinrates, I hate that blast of hot hair you get when you open a shop door, it's like it strips my face of any moisture and leave my lips so dry!
I think I'll go for layers and length, we're going to be doing sightseeing, mum and dad have just moved to the area so it'll be nice for them to see London town. I'll probably go for a long vest with a long jumper. I need to get a nice jacquard pashmina, I had one years ago but it got lost when I moved.
Daisy, what dress did you get?
