The vicar's coffee morning went okay, somebody mentioned that my naked image was on public display in the art gallery and he overheard me talking about enjoying full moon parties but it could have been worse.

My friends always ask me to come with them if they're jeans shopping, I'm brutally honest but at least no-one ends up with badly-fitting jeans.

I'm just back from a lovely walk around the lake with my mum we had some bread going stale so made the best of the gorgeous weather

Nope, sadly no baking, I got collared in to writing Mum's cards and sorting out parcels. Baking Friday I think...we're shopping tomorrow

I just wrote a big post but it got lost - never happens on the short posts does it?!! So I've given up as I've had a big day with lots to do.

folky/Russian style dress customised by me as it was too small and too short (£5 charity shop)
70s style enamel pendant on a long chain (Primark £1.50)
black glitzy earrings (£2 New Look sale)
black diamond pattern opaques (Primark £2, probably my most favourite tights)
black leather heeled Mary-Janes (New Look £16)

daytime for docs, school play etc - black me-made cardi coat

evening for wine bar where my companion (what can I say, I'm old-fashioned!) is djing - black vintage Astrakhan fit and flare coat (second hand clothing stall £10)

Been up since 5:30am, damn attention seeking cat.

Off shopping shortly, wearing:

Black floral t-shirt dress: Vintage via covert candy
Black thermal tights: tesco
Grey jersey cardi: Peacocks
Grey super soft snood: Dorothy Perkins
Black buckle detail flat ankle boots: Dorothy Perkins (my parents bought these for me Sunday as Dad was adamant! I wasn't there, but they know my taste!)
Hot Pink winter coat: Cotton Traders, of all places!

Morning ladies.

I'min my old balck and white (although now more grey and cream) jersey dress. I've ben avoiding it knowing its looking shabby, but it feels like an old friend,and I'm happy to have it on today.

Grey tights, pale pink vest, sort of cream, as with the faded dress.

No jewellery besides wedding ring, and minimal make up too. I feel fine, but just not feeling ''extras'' today. Will grab a cardi and whatever shoes are by the door.

Morning all

Totally hideous day yesterday travelwise, culminating in a two hour wait at Kings Cross because HR bought me the wrong ticket, and having to stand all the way to Grantham because they hadn't reserved me a seat either. Some slimeball had parked their chewing gum on the seat so I got that on my velvet coat (managed to get it off thankfully).

Meetings went on too long for me to have a potter about, so I think I'm going to go on my travels tomorrow - can't decide on whether to up to Edinburgh or maybe down to Leeds.

Lostinrates, I hate high waisted jean too - they always make me feel like I'm just one ginormous bottom. It's like the denim equivalent of big knickers!

Goan, that velvet is stunning. The colours are amazing. That'll be fab at Glastonbury with a big floppy hat!

Alex, love those shoes and the dress - it's got a bit of a Missoni look to it.

I'm afraid I just threw any old tat on this morning - not going anywhere until later, so why not. There's only the postman to frighten.
