I agree LiR, wish my real life was more busy, as it would take my mind of feeling so sad :(
    .

I relate a lot right now,
only trouble being when I am busy, like I have been this week, I get over exhausted and cant deal with anything

    Wearing:
Beige (ish?!) long sleeve top: *checks label* A-wear
Pink/blue/green fine cord material checked dress: topshop (super sale buy)
    Purple tights: Primark
Black buckle ankle boots: Dorothy Perkins
Cut out rose silver pendant: Made by a friend.

Off to the post office soon, which is likely to be an all day job if recent queues are anything to go by.

(((piratefairy))) Hope things sort themselves out soon for you hun.

The party outfit was much admired last night which is lovely :D Today I am much less inspired due to sleeping in very late and having to get ready in a rush. So it's:

    Black boots
    Jeans
White smock top with navy art nouveau style embroidery around the neckline
    Grey long line cardi
    Cream pashmina

I think I need to get ruthless with my wardrobe fairly soon. I seem to only have two pairs of trousers that are anywhere near fitting and I have loads of jeans that I'm still wearing but that look a bit like baggy clown trousers. Should really charity shop them and go shopping shouldn't I?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Urgh, I was happily dressed (green taffeta full length skirt from an evening outfit....not the bodie though, a long sleeved t and DH's welly socks) and had to get changed to take my mother out :(

So, black t..a pretty past it black cashmere jumper I use to do the horses in (under a coat) and the horrid jeans.

    Hi ladies!

Remember me?! I haven't been on for aaages as things have been so manic home and work wise. Dh is busy setting up a pc company, but it means lots of things that he normally does have been left to me to do, so I get little down time and then just crash in front of tv...

(((())))'s to piratefairy - you sound like you need some x

I gained some clothes at the weekend - for free!! My sister has a fabulously well paid job and far too much money, then when she feels down she shops. She sorted out two huge Ikea bags full of stuff and sent it down to my mums, so I had a sort through and gained 5 dresses, a jacket, brown roll neck jumper, beige Zara jumper, short sleeved cardie, scarf and 3 bags :D.

    Today I'm wearing:
brown roll neck - M&S via sister
brown/glittery tunic dress - Tu via sister
    black opaques
brown suede knee length biker boots - Next
brown scarf - Accessorise via sister
    cream jacket - Next

I love the dress, it satisfies my need for something a little different, and the layering is very cosy!

    xx

Black & grey leopard print leggings (New Look sale)
Vintage purple leather knee high boots (Chazza shop)
    Silver tribal jewellery (India)
Silver filigree disc earrings (Car Boot)
TopShop angora boyfriend cardi in black (Car boot)
Long black cotton scarf with dull silver discs (Miss Selfridge)
    Purple woolly hat (TopShop)

    Have a fab afternoon.

    *waves at Claire*

Ugh, queued for half an hour in the post office, not amused!
The whole village seemed to be in there today
and it's so cold out. Depsite adding loads of layers.

I did buy myself a new thermal vest whilst I was out
but my old one is, err, old and far too big, so it's justified methinks!

Afternoon ladies, how are we all today? Everyone looking forward to the weekend?

Alex, see, I knew you were going to look fab. (I so want those shoes!)
Piratefairy, good to see you back, so sorry you're struggling atm. Bless, I just want to give you a big hug.
LiR, nowt wrong with taffeta and welly socks - I would have gone out as I was!

I had planned to hop on a train and go somewhere a bit different today, but totally forgot it was Friday and consequently cheap train tickets are a no-go, so I've put that off for another day (got some more time off coming up) and instead I think I might pop up to Durham for the afternoon. The hike back up the hill to the station will do me good as well!

    Currently wearing:
    black cropped Nikes
    grandad shirt
my son's North Face fleece gilet
    lilac Uggs
    But about to change into:
    black leggings
vintage Penny Plain thin Indian cotton dress (my Flake girl dress lol) rucked up at the sides with some sleeve clips to shorten it
    oversized charcoal grey jumper (H&M)
light tan Frye Campus boots (a bargain £35 in TK Maxx over the summer)

Anyway, time I wasn't here if I want to be in Durham within the next hour, so see you all later and have a good day.
  • Hi everyone :hello:

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped with the knickers as outerwear dilemma last week, I've bought them and the big night is tomorrow! Wearing them with a bronze metallic vest and a black blazer, with very very thick black tights so I don't freeze my bum off. I'll update you on how it went down on Monday!
Scar tissue that I wish you saw, sarcastic mister know it all, close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view.
