I'm wondering what to do with my day now
go for a walk
wrap presents
trial run of christmas baking?
Go for a walk first whilst it's dry then a trial run of baking. Leave the wrapping till there's a nice film on the telly! xx0 -
Certainly, go for walk while the wether holds.
Ladies, I do not like my size down jeans, They are high waisted (thought would help, actually feels like corsetry). They waist though is too big, gapey, but the bum, tum, hips fit well, then at the top of the back of my thighs it feels* baggy. I'm worried it might look like a soiled nappy! Still, hopefully this will be a short term pair of jeans too....perhaps not being too fond of them is a good thing?
* I say ''feels'' as I have no full length mirror ATM.0 -
Morning everyone. Nice to see you back piratefairy
Today's outfit (can it even be described as such? It's more accurately to call it whatever I pulled out of the wardrobe whilst bleary eyed this morning) is black trousers, mint green v neck slouchy jumper and black sparkly ballet pumps.
I said I'd post some pics of the Christmas outfit so here goes. Actually, much faffing later, I'll just link to pics of them as they're showing up as enormous, despite much resizing
Dress (Per Una, £19 in the sale). To be worn with black leggings and lots of control underwear :rotfl:
Accessories - consisting of shoes by Irregular Choice, bag - um, can't remember as it's really old and earrings (just to the right of the shoes) - Mikey. It doesn't exactly all tone together but I don't care, the shoes are too beautiful not to be worn
Lovely, lovely, lovely! I bet you feel great!0 -
Lost- I have that problem will all highwaisted jeans, I have a couple of pairs and only bung them on for emergencies
Just see them as a temporary measure0 -
Alex - I love the shoes, and think it will all look great together!! Still not decided what to wear for my Xmas do yet, guess I ought to get htinking!!
Lost - I have that problem with all jeans, I can't stand the way I have never found a pair that feels right, whatever the mirror says..
Daisy - Agree, go for a walk this morning, would quite like to be out in the crisp cold myselfNeed to wrap my presents too, although did rope my sis into helping me make Xmas cards last night, so at least that's one more ting off the list..
Goan - What are you dressing up as??0 -
Thanks ladies
The control underwear does feel a bit like a suit of armour but it does the trick!lostinrates wrote: »Certainly, go for walk while the wether holds.

I'm finding that with a few pairs of jeans - perhaps we're both losing more weight from our thighs? Wish it would go from my waist instead! :rolleyes:0 -

My mum gets a fat left leg when she puts a few pounds on, it's really quite hilarious to see :rotfl:
Ach, I'm just bulgy all over. You know when you see some plus size women that really suit it and just look happy and curvy? I'm NOT one of them!0 -

Hi all!
Alex I think your dress is a really versatile buy! You can bling it up for going out but I can see it looking good with a thin layer underneath and a long cardi on top too for daytime too. Lots of scope to add a splash of colour too!! Good buy esp with the reduction!
Feeling bulgy.........heels and pulling yourself up to stand tall (even you diminutive girls) helps too! Oh! and standing back from the mirror and training yourself to look at the full reflection which is what everyone else sees.....not just focussing on the bits you don't like!0
