I always remember where I got things from and pretty much exactly how much they cost, I think it's cos I'm a cheapskate and proud of my bargains!
I watched Kirsty's programme, I didn't think much of the series but I really enjoyed this. I can't believe she went to Libertys and showed hardly any of the decorations other than what they were selling - I went there on Friday, the huge purple tinsel wall as you go in is fantastic and the ceiling entirely covered in gold and silver gift bows sounds tacky but it was really stunning.0 -
Wow Mrs R, you ARE organised! Hope you enjoy the show.
I'm down in "that London" tomorrow as well, although it'll be spent pretty much all spent in White City (all work related). So wish I could get out of it, but it aint happening.
Got my clothes sorted though:
black leggings
charcoal asymetric tshirt
distressed black pirate-style Frye boots
will either wear black velvet coat and take leopard print velvet bag or big grey leopard fake fur and black bag, depending on weather0 -
Morning all, haven't been around for ages, did 3 days on a first aid course last week, then spent a busy weekend at work / the clothes show, and then had a couple of rly busy days at work..have done a couple of blog updates tho..
Today's outfit is a lovely teal blue tulip skirt i picked up last night from matalan, which had a black skinny belt on, so have teamed with a plain grey tshirt (primark), my black cropped blazer (peacocks), and black irregular choice tape measure shoes, with black tights and pearl / black bead bracelets / necklace..
Pic to go on blog later
Glad everyone seems to have happy news recently..Trying to be more positive myself..0 -
I'm wearing a black and white Tellin dress by French Connection (£15 from Ebay
) with black tights, black patent heels, my red Warehouse coat and of course my massive Jasper Conran bag :-)

Blimey, Mrs_Ryan...super woman!
Wearing today:
Light wash denim shirt dress: Gap via ebay
Cream thermal long sleeve underneath: Peacocks
Brown floral tights: Betsey Johnson, gift from friend
and that's as far as I've got as so far have no plans to venture out today0 -
Morning everyone. Nice to see you back piratefairy
Today's outfit (can it even be described as such? It's more accurately to call it whatever I pulled out of the wardrobe whilst bleary eyed this morning) is black trousers, mint green v neck slouchy jumper and black sparkly ballet pumps.
I said I'd post some pics of the Christmas outfit so here goes. Actually, much faffing later, I'll just link to pics of them as they're showing up as enormous, despite much resizing
Dress (Per Una, £19 in the sale). To be worn with black leggings and lots of control underwear :rotfl:
Accessories - consisting of shoes by Irregular Choice, bag - um, can't remember as it's really old and earrings (just to the right of the shoes) - Mikey. It doesn't exactly all tone together but I don't care, the shoes are too beautiful not to be worn0 -
I love those shoes Alex! and the dress0

Brrrr! Very chilly but a beautiful day.
Mrs_Ryan - Again, I'm in complete awe of your organisational skills. I didn't realise you lived so close, I still haven't sorted out my holiday clothes, I may have to call on your services! Have a wonderful time down "that London". JudgeJaq - Great to see someone else referring to it in the same way, most folk think I'm odd!
Alex- Fabulous choice of outfit. I was admiring that frock in M&S the other day, very Missoni-inspired!
I'm just completing our fancy dress outfits for a party on Saturday night. If I'd have posted 10 minutes ago I'd have been wearing a lace basque, cut-off indecently short denim hot pants, 6inch platform heels and ghetto fabulous jewellery. As it is I'm off to Pilates and the vicar's invited us for coffee and mince pies as it's the last session before Xmas so I'm a bit more covered up (and bound to swear or say the wrong thing as I do when I'm taken out of my comfort zone).
Today's outfit:
Grey hareems (TopShop)
Black skinny button-up long-sleeved tee (Mango via boot sale)
Vintage tan leather pirate boots (Chazza shop)
Silver tribal bangles and rings (India)
H&M silver filigree disc earrings (Car Boot)
TopShop skull and pansy print scarf (B'day pressie)
Vintage black braided waistcoat (Chazza shop)
Grey military jacket (TopShop, ancient)
Have a great day, gang!0 -
It seems to be the week to go to 'that London', I'm off down there on Friday! (although then going to Oxford on Saturday for this army ball...)
Before that though, I've got another day at work, and today's outfit is:
- Red V neck knee length dress with print of white umbrellas (New Look)
- White vest top (Zara) underneath dress
- Black tights (M&S)
- Black ankle boots with stud detail (New Look)
- Black military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
- Multicoloured stripey scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
- Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
- Usual jewellery (birthday/Christmas/graduation presents from parents and boyfriend)
Hair is tied back with bits left hanging at the front framing my face (it needs washing so I'm trying to hide it as best I can!), perfume is Body Shop Aqua Lily and I'm not wearing nail polish.
In work until five, then home to do my workout, start packing for London and do some job stuff.
