    I've been Money Tipped!
Good luck Daisybella....if they need to see you though they need to...perhaps if you wait till you are strong enough to increase work hours and suggest that as proof of improvment?

We did some mor charity shopping this weekend, DH got and outstanding green velvet jacket for £14....fits him well. I think it would look cute, if a bit elfin, with yellow velvet torusers. He'll probably wear it with beige moleskins though. It matches dog-dogs forest green fleece onsey. :)

The weather is scary this morning: the sky is swingin dramatically from leaden to a vacuous grey, and the wind is whipping everything up, bring the occasional splash of wet. Today I'm taking care of my mother, who was really ill all night, and one of the other dogs who is declinin almost all food...she'll eat cat food. And I *think* I might have developed impetigo:eek: so I'll ask on my weekly GP visit on thursday if thats what it is and what I should do about it. (I bet it scars )

Warmth is the order of the day. I've found some black velvet trousers I didn't know I had and a black cashmere sweater. Style avoidance all-in-black, rather than a style statement.

    Keep warm and dry today.

I know what you mean about the sky, it's fearsome!
I'm glad my Mum is home this week so she can drop me at the doctors and pick me up :o

I hope your Mum feels better soon, Lost, and your dog
    (and you!)

I had a very quiet weekend - it was my mum's birthday on Saturday so we had a little family brunch, and then on Sunday we put up our Christmas tree. But it was still a nice weekend, sometimes you just need to chill out.

I'm back in work today and my outfit is:

    - Two in one dress that looks like a grey long sleeved scoop neck top and a black and hot pink knee length skirt (New Look)
    - Black tights (M&S)
    - Black ankle boots with stud detail (New Look)
    - Black military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
    - Multicoloured stripey scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
    - Usual jewellery (birthday/Christmas/graduation presents from parents and boyfriend)

Hair is straightened then messed up with spray wax, and perfume is Body Shop Aqua Lily. No nail polish today though.

In work until around half five, then home to do my workout and relax.

    Happy Monday everyone!

    Hello everyone!

Lostinrates - hope your mum and dog are better soon. Daisy- glad the doc appointments are decreasing. Mariel - loving the sound of your refashioned clothes!

Just back from the Clothes Show Live and I'm exhausted. Great day out, especially when I discovered the Vintage Village. Very poor in the people watching stakes though - everyone looks the same these days: black leggings, Uggs, side partings, bags with a chain strap.... whatever happened to individuality?

    My outfit: (Photo on blog)
1960's Dollyrockers maxi dress (eBay 99p)
    Purple boots (Charity shop)
    Fur gillet (Charity shop)
Peacock feather bangles (Urban Outfitters via Car Boot)
    Silver jewellery (India)
Paisley print leather bag (Charity shop)

    Have a fun evening!

Trouble is Daisybella it's the same pair of jeans I seem to be wearing all the time! It's so lovely to have a nice flattering pair though.

goanmad - I bet loads of the identical girls were wishing they could dress like you but don't have the imagination or guts. I used to tone down what I wore a lot as I live in a very small town and couldn't handle the looks but then I turned 40 and decided I was old enough to be eccentric. I've always wanted to go to the Clothes Show, I even had tickets one year but my friend let me down at the last minute and I don't go anywhere on my own as I always get completely lost. Still one day eh...

Mrs_Ryan- you are so organized! I'm going to hire you when I next need to pack :p

Goan- SO jealous you went to the clothes show, every year I say I'm going to save up and go (since I was 13 lol) I'm determined to get there next year!!

Feeling a bit sad today, this time of year has so many blah memories.

    Wearing:
red/navy/green tiny floral print chiffon tea dress: New York Laundry (super cheap via Ethel Austin)
    green tights: Primark
green 3/4 chunky knit cardi: Primark via clothes swap site
brown fringed suede boots: New Look
gingerbread house handmade brooch: gift from friend

Have to go brave the line at the post office soon, I was meant to do it yesterday but it was out the door and I didn't have time before the docs. Will be adding winter coat, snood and gloves to outfit!
