PS: Great cardi, Bronnie. I may investigate further, my Mum would love it.
Alexnikov - congratulations on your leggings purchase, bet they look fab with your new improved figure! xx

Sainsbury's now have 25% off Tu atm. Now although that cardi was £40 online, the actual swing ticket on mine was original price £30, not £40.
In theory, now there could be another 25% off £30....not sure, but maybe!

Alex, which dress did you decide on in the end? Did I miss that bit?? Enjoy your new outfit anyway!!

LIR love your advent good deed for the day idea, started today. People can become a bit aggressive at this time of year can't they?? I am trying to be especially nice to oldies!! (firm believer in what goes around comes around!!)

Going to peep at the blogs now!

    Night!

Teehee, roung here its guerilla pensionners. I'm going out with my mother today, after my weekly doctor appt, and I'm quite scared....that pensionner gets particularly aggressive at times, but I don't think she realises. The terrible thing is people just take it! Quite often they seem to adore her  I took her to the hospital recently and she was VILE to the nurse and so I told her off....soething I usually don't dare do, but to her credit she apologised to the nurse, and by the time we left the doctor, and the team of nurses all came to hug her good bye :confused::rolleyes:

OK, so as its the doctors I'm in the same ut fit as last thursday...purple crochet dress (I did wear a maxi dress and said I'd stick with that originally, but ...I didn't:o) Because its the same dress I've changed earings (salmon pink and orange) and only wearing one of my wedding rings (partly because fingers are a bit swollen) and added a big shell bracelet in a browny/trouty purple. Pink tights. Will were old givenchy sunglasses....not yet sure about coat. Oh, and black flats...would normally wear my diesel ivory/purple/pink heels but the weather is too miserble to subject the suede to.

Totally all about the agressive pensioners here, too. Oh man. I fear them.

    - Black military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
    - Multicolored stripey scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
    - Usual jewellery (birthday/Christmas/graduation presents from parents and boyfriend)

Hair is straightened then messed up with wax, nail polish is Nails Inc South Molton Street, and perfume is Body Shop Aqua Lily.

Long sleeve black and white striped tee: H&M
    Thick black tights: Asda
    Black ankle boots: Peacocks

Morning folks, everyone ok today? It's a bit dull and grey here, but thankfully not as cold as it has been in the last couple of days.

Alex, I came late to leggings too, but they're great for layering. I have to wear them with boots though.

Can't believe it's December already - where has the year gone? I've had to brave town the last couple of days and honestly, it's like a battlefield out there. I've had people asking me if I'm all ready for Christmas - what?!?! It's the beginning of December! People look at me like I've just threatened to eat their first born when I say no and that my tree won't go up until a couple of days before Xmas Eve.

Apologies if I sound like a right old Scrooge, but it just gets earlier and earlier every year, and more and more extravagant. I'll do Christmas my way, in my own time, thank you very much!

Oof, rant over! Anyway, today's outfit:
black leggings (with tights underneath for warmth)
grey gathered long tshirt - H&M
purple waterfall front cardigan - TKMaxx
distressed black Frye pirate boots - Fenwicks sale
60s stainless steel and purple glass pendant

btw anybody else having trouble with their thanks button? Mine's disappeared.
  • Morning all. No Rain here today and slightly warmer than freezing! Yay!

    Today I am wearing

    Faded skinny jeans, Primark £8
Black suede heeled boots, Vintage, aquired from Mother
Long sleeved black top with button detail at the wrists, Primark £4
White tshirt with skull print and studded detail, hand me up from my little sister, originally from New Look i believe
    Red boyfriend cardigan, Primark £10

Can anyone claim to be truely organised for Christmas yet? I have my list of what I need to get/make but I can't seem to be motivated enough to actually go and get everything!

No. I have a basket of goodies waiting to be purchased on Amazon but can't actually place the order because I don't know what one of my sisters has got for my other sister and our parents. I'm also thinking of taking myself up to Liverpool on Sunday (more shops than Lancaster but nicer than Preston!) to get the bits I can't or don't want to order off the Internet, and I need to write my own Christmas list as people are starting to pester me for it - I have some ideas but nothing definite as yet.
