Round the house today.
Pink print cami and shorts from Tesco...can't emember how much...I bought them to slim down to..an small incentive along the way..and, well....I'm wearin them! socks underneath DH's big woolen boot socks (knitted by nuns in Italy..4Euros) ancient pink crochet cardi and a blue shrug type thing (knitted my my grandmother for my mother in the sixties/seventies) over the top....my cardigan take on short sleeve over long sleeve.
Condition treatment in my hair and I really do have to get to my nails at some point, they look terrible..I cu them short a couple of weeks ago and they normally don't grow back veyr quickly, yet they have, a ouple have briken and they look ratty.0 -
Morning all!
Tottering off to town in the cold just now, to tout my afore-mentioned bits of broken gold around!
This is my new purchase, it was only £30 in my Sainsbury's though, it's black and has got a ginger brown, cream and grey fleck, which pulls together some bits of black and brown clothing I've got quite pleasingly.....first time I've ever worn black and brown together in my life!

I'm not a great one for bulky knits and layers, makes me feel too claustrophobic and bulky with too many clothes piled on. This is quite streamlined and very slimming!
So, underneath above-the- knee fine-knit black jumper dress and black opaques, my new cardi/coat thing,
Primark bargain flat brown suede OTK boots...not really OTK as I'm tall, they just keep my knees covered and warm.
DD's M&S muted leopard print black patent tote bag
and I'm just about to steal a scarf from her vast collection.
Black ...black ....and more black......SIGH! I need the sun!0 -
Oooh I love that Bronnie!0

Morning all.
Hope everyone is having a good week so far.
I am finding it hard to get into the Christmas spirit this year. Think the fact that buying a house has made me poorer than I have ever been before is not helping. Plus the fact that said house resembles a building site, I can't seem to imagine it being ready for Christmas Day, all decorated, kitchen ready for me to cook my first Christmas dinner for mine and OH families :S
Today have a few important meetings at work so have tried to be a little smarter
Blue pinstripe shirt dress with ruffle detail, Primark £10
Black boyfriend cardie, Primark £10
Black leggings, H&M £7
Brown leather heeled boots, TK Maxx £30
Think a spot of late night Christmas shopping might get me more in the mood, I do love all the Christmas lights!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
Oh that's lovely Bronnie.
I bought a pair of leggings yesterday  Now this probably doesn't seem even remotely daring to anyone but I haven't worn a pair since I was about 12 and I really have never had the sort of figure that suits showing off my legs. But the saga of the Christmas party dress means I need some so I was brave and bought a pair. And guess what, they don't look horrible!
Now to M&S in search of a slip as the dress clings  It may be easier to just find a new dress!
Today's outfit is:
Black boots
Jeans
Long sleeved thin grey top
Royal blue empire line tunic
Grey and white thin striped boyfriend cardi
I'm warm for the first time in days!0 -
Hi all! Bronnie, I love wearing black. It's so chic and classic. Bet you look fab!
It was too cold and too early to make an effort today, so I'm wearing:
Skinny jeans
Brown loose fit high necked jersey top
Dusky pink cardigan
Brown suede studded boots
Long owl pendant
Owl face ring
Hope you're all having fun Wednesdays!0 -
Hello All!
Hope everyone's fine and dandy. It's not as cold as yesterday and no rain either (but it's forecast for tomorrow -guaranteed to spoil my booting plans!)
I've been to Pilates today, made a dress and updated my blog. Looking forward to The Family and Spooks later, accompanied by a homemade pizza and a cheeky bottle of Rose - a bit of a wednesday tradition of late.
A guy at Pilates told me that he loved the way I dressed and I was really "rock and roll". More by accident than design I think! Wednesday usually invoves not dressing till I realise it's 20mins before the class starts and chucking on more and more layers until I feel cosy.
Today's outfit:
TopShop grey hareems with grey woolly tights underneath
Long black vest layered with an aubergine one (TopShop via boot sale)
Vintage leather pirate boots (chazza shop)
Huge Art Nouveau style silver choker with an agate set off-centre (Car boot)
Silver bangles and rings (India)
Liberty peacock feather wool shawl (inherited from my late Grandma)
TopShop grey military jacket (Ancient)
Brown glass stud earrings (Car boot)
Enjoy the rest of your day!
