Aw, that is a lovely boyfriend!

And I'll agree with you on my Mum; she's really more like a best friend or sister than parent, and I wouldn't have it any other way :D

I've been so busy lately - I still love you all and your outfits but have have too much to do and too little time!

Today I went into the hospital for my induction as a volunteer on the Maternity Wards, I can't wait to get started - hopefully next week! Also popped into Sainsburys (just for coffee) and came out with some more jeggings (I love them so comfy!) and a fuscia tunic with flowery design and silver accents - sounds a bit garish but it's really pretty - they had 25% off all clothing so I also picked up Dylan a pair of shoes to tide him over until Clarks have their Xmas sale as his current size 5.5 only have about 2 weeks growth left apparently - typical!

Today's outfit is dark blue jeggings, grey slouchy boots, my grey polo shirt (uniform for support work) and grey/navy stripey boyfriend cardi.

Ruby red nails by Nails Inc - can't remmeber the road name but it was free with Glamour mag this month and is so cheerful I keep staring at my nails and grinning like a loon!

I'm feeling pretty happy today as the midwifes were all lovely and told me they were glad to have someone so young helping out as I would hopefully be more appealing to the teen mums - they all seemed genuinely surprised when I said I was nearly 30! My huby found this hillarious when I got home which brought me back down to earth though.

Hope you are all well looking forward to catching up with your blogs now...

BTW Sorry about the spelling today - brain all over the place.

I didn't even know one could do that! How amazing, well done you!

I used to do a lot of volunteering for a few charities and I really miss it. I've been looking to get inspired by something local for a long while, problem with living rurally is stuff like that...and I want to do something I can really believe in. :)

What a super thing for you to do!

Grammargirl - Love the denim shirt - Daisybella has a fab one too which I have admired for a while, I actually nearly tried a very similar one on in Sainsburys today but shirts really dont look right on me undone as the opening ends up gaping at my hips making them look even wider (not desirable!)

In answer to your question - I think I like look 3 best, it's something I would like to wear, really closely followed by number 4!

I love the Pink Flamingo nail varnish - you're right it looks so good with denim. I have just got back into my nail varnish and am making an effort once a week to file and paint them - it is also a cracking excuse to sit doing nothing while they dry! Oooh and the Rasperry is lush too! Dear Santa...

Well I have been a very good girl this year!

And I just have to comment on Goan's blog too. It's so good to know that I am not the only one with skin issues, I saw the other comments too from some of the other girls and it really has lifted me. I had acne through my teens which was helped when I went on Dianette but after having Dylan I had a Mirena coil fitted which they never told me can give you acne if you are prone to it because of the progesterone. Now trying to get my skin under control until I can have it taken out and go on the combined pill but have to wait until Dylan stops breastfeeding - which is likely to be no time soon.

Still I have some other ideas now so will let you know how I get on with that! I really must find one of these jumble sales as I can't get over some of the bargains you have got! Has anyone else managed to track one down? If so, let me know how it went. x

Last but not least, PirateFairy, beautiful pink boots, I love anything piratey/nautical and my little boy is frequently spoting skulls and anchors (I am making the most of this until he is old enough to rebel!)

And I do believe we have the same wardrobes as you - just mine are not so stuffed full with treasure!

Vicki, you're a sweetheart. I had terrible skin through my teens and I was put on Marvelon which completely cured it. Might be one to try when you're back to normal? I still use it, 6 years later, and have never had a problem. xxx
