You sound lovely and preppy today Min :D

    I've gone for:

Black canvas ankle boots - Office
    Indigo jeans - Dotty P's
Ancient white shirt - no idea, the label is so faded.
Slouchy long line black v neck jumper - Dotty P's

No jewellery but I've got curly hair today :)

Currently pondering Christmas dresses. Now I never wear skirts or dresses usually but I'm feeling a bit more confident this year and I already have some fab chocolate brown fishnets and divine Irregular Choice green suede heels. I'm not brave enough (or slim enough) to wear anything too short or obviously party-ish so the hunt is on for something lovely.

Do people think this is too plain? http://www.marksandspencer.com/Autograph-Weekend-Drape-Dress-Wool/dp/B002OXPVZK?ie=UTF8&qid=1259151059&categoryNodeID=42967030&ref=sr_1_2&page=&node=192501031&sr=1-2&mnSBrand=core&rh=

Thank you! I'm testing it out as an interview outfit - I'm not really a big suit person so wanted something different, but am wondering if it's too 'out there'? I do have a back up outfit as well though, just a shirt and trousers in case I decide against this one.

    And that dress is gorgeous!

  • Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well :D

    Today I am wearing

    Dark skinny jeans, Primark £8
    Fake uggs, Matalan £5
Black long sleeved cotton top, Primark £4
Oversized white tee with button detail down the back, Zara £12
    Grey thin cardie, H&M £7

Dressed for warmth today! I always seem to forget how cold winter is!

Yup, they're the shoes. I adore them :D

Thanks for the advice ladies! I'll ring up the Liverpool store and see if they have it in stock, then perhaps nip into town one night after work and try it on. Fingers crossed they do have it as I don't fancy trekking to Manchester and they don't have my size available online

goanmad - you sound super organised. When do you leave?

Do M&S offer the transfer it from another store service, I wonder. Maybe they could get it in from Chester or Warrington (which I always forget about ..the M&S by Ikea) if so and you're not in a hurry for it! Not the time of year to be unnnecessarily trekking anywhere IMO......and a shopping trip to Manchester sounds a dangerous proposition from the ££££££££££point of view!

Not till the 28th December (first time in years I'm at home for Xmas, yuk!) so I'm trying to speed up the wait by organising myself and getting very excited by checking Indiamike regularly - a fab forum for fellow Indiaphiles!

    Good luck with the dress!

Yeah, try the huge Gemini store at Warrington, they seem to have the best range of stock whenever I go. I asked about the store transfer, as they always used to do that, but they don't offer it in my local store any longer.

The Warrington store was my first thought (seeing as it's absolutely enormous!) but I had a poke about on the website and from the looks of it, it doesn't seem to stock the Autograph range. I'll do a bit of ringing round this evening and see what I can sort out :)

Just about to pop out to buy a new cooker. How bizarre does that sound at 6.30 at night?! There's method in my madness though, one of the department stores is having a shopping event and there's an extra 10% off kitchen appliances. Anyway, must dash as I ant to be there and back as quickly as poss - it's not really nice weather out tonight.

So, outfit is black jumper dress, black wool tights and black boots, black velvet coat, leopard bag (might take satchel instead though).

    *yawns*
Morning all, got woken up early by work ringing to see if I'd do them a favour and work from 7am Saturday, instead of 8:30am
ugh, I said yes, but only because they have been very good to me (I'll be kicking myself when I have to get up at 5 on Saturday!).

Quiet day ahead, the doctors at the surgery Mum works at have requested some of my home baking, so that's the morning taken care of :o
Going to get ahead on Christmas card writing this afternoon I think; the weather is so miserable.

    Wearing;
Black and white floral print dress: peacocks
    Black tights: boots
    Black boyfriend cardi: primark
    Leopard print slippers: new look

    perfect colours for baking...haa.

today's outfit is a sheer grey l/s top under a red and white candy stripe dress from h&m, silver Irregular Choice mary janes, and a grey beret..bleh..
