It won't fix it ..it will come back later, and its not moneysaving!

How about trying something creative instead? ;)

Oh, LiR - that's exactly what I tell my friends. You ought to add that to your signature! xxx

LOL, I'm due a signiture change too.

I don't tend to shop a lot, but one of the last things i bought was a beautiful teapot, I was so happy, I'd awanted it for ages and I was almost sure it would have gone by the time I went back....on Monday I saw the exact same teapot for £2.50 in a charity shop, much less than 10 times less than I paid . grrr!

I am thinking about an adult ed course on ebaying.:o I know it sounds stupid but I find it really hard to buy stuff (I make DH do it) let alone sell, and we've got so much stuff DH doesn't want to give away but would sell....he's a hoarder, we both are, but he rally hates to throw ANYTHING a way. I'm hoping this isn't another of the courses not run due to lack of interest.

ETA: it does just look like I made a nice little purchase though....so daisybella can throw that right back at me ;)

LIR- that course sounds like a fab idea! I hate when courses don't run though...I was meant to do a shorthand one last year, that then didn't run...they then cancelled it full stop this year!

*has now moved away from shopping, to looking at favourite inspiration sites*
  • Hi! Gosh, where does the day go? Have only just caught up with blog stuff and am now half watching QI while browsing eBay and thinking about Christmas. Yargh!

    Today's was:
    Chinese style printed tunic
    Skinny jeans
    Black leather jacket
    Velvet pumps
    Bangle and ring

Hope you're all fine and dandy! Friday tomorrow - hurray! I'm going vintage shopping on my lunch break so will update with any fabulous purchases tomorrow. :)
  • hello..last night i braved late night shopping in telford because i managed to track down the last one of the river island panda hats, which i was promised for xmas weeks ago by my mother, but whom only tried to order it on monday and was surprised to find it had sold out! (grr @ mother!!) therefore, my sister and i have been calling round the stores to try and find one..
was very restrained though, and took back some h&m things from the weekend, so really didn't spend a lot - even went in primark and only came out with the two items i'd planned..

anyway, today's outfit is fairly uninspired:
    teal blue tunic dress, primark
    black lace leggings
    blue pixie boots, office
black bead headband and various bracelets
black and white floral coat, primark

bit concerned about the fact i've had pins and needles in my right hand/arm for almost a whole day :(

Eep, i love vintage shopping, GG, but the sizing is always to beautifully petite I often come away with a blow to my confidence..

Also, I just checked my emails and got a New Look online code..
VIPCST20 for 20% off online orders till Nov 30th, apparently..

    Oh no, more codes!

Woke up in a foul mood once again (blaming the weather!) so am making some chocolate chip cookies to ease the mood
(not sure what we'll do with all these baked goods hahaha). I found an Easter Egg I'd not got round to eating :o so bashed the hell out of it and stuck it in the cookies.

I am still in PJs, but will likely get dressed before too long!

    Happy Friday!
  • Oh, I love baking, though, it really does relax me sometimes :) I spent most of Sunday evening making cakes, and alphabet cookies, and managed to refrain from eating any of it..One of the cakes went to a friend, one to my Guides for their party on Monday, and a box of alphabet cookies to my best friend so he could practise spellings with his little girl..I think it's nice to spread a bit of the baking joy :)

I think I'm going to send them in to the doctors at Mum's work, as they have a Saturday flu surgery tomorrow and are no doubt grumpy about it!

My mood has now vastly improved...something about dancing to the radio when washing up fixed it :p

*is now going to hunt for an outfit*
  • Also, on the subject of more codes, "mon25" on the monsoon website for 25% off until the 7th dec..if tht helps anyone? :)
