Morning :) My Dad's just left on a week long course, which means lots of girly time with my Mum, which should help my mood. She's working today and I'm off out for coffee with my best friend this morning.

    Wearing:

    Jeggings: New Look
Black vintage dress with tie front detail (cant explain, pics on blog shortly) that is too short to wear as a dress!: Ebay
    Black heeled ankle boots: Peacocks
Multi strand black beaded necklace: gift.

    Have a great week all!

    Hey all!

Hope everyone's well and looking forward to the week ahead. I've just realised that I'll be off on my hols 6 weeks today, yipee!!!

I've been to my yoga class this morning and I'm spending the afternoon working on eBay until I get dragged off down the road for a mega food shop.

    Today's outfit is very drab:
Reworked vintage tee with a skeleton riding a Harley (jumble sale then customised by me)
Black ribbed long line vest (TopShop via boot sale)
    Black leggings (Present)
Tibetan handknitted yak wool socks (India)
    Tribal bangles and rings (India)
    Polished turquoise stud earrings (Present)
Vintage 80's pirate boots (Car boot)

    Have a great afternoon!
  • Hi lovely fashionistas, haven't posted for a while but have been lurking and following some of your lovely blogs - PirateFairy sending a massive hug, I kind of know how you feel.

I've attempted wrapped up but summeryish today to try and lift my mood - try to evoke a bit of Californian spirit in deepest darkest Essex:

white and navy striped vest top (Hollister)
    white 'grandad' top (also Hollister)
    denim pencil skirt (French connection)
    thick cream knitted cardigan (Sainsburys)
    thick black tights
    black rimmed glasses

    Hello gals!

I wore my charity shop purchased green roll neck over a black vest and jeans today. :)

On an MSE looking good theme I finally found some caster oil for the oild cleanse method, though it was more exensive than I thought it would be.

went out shopping with my mother to favourite shops like Space NK...and bought no clothes or make up. Possibly the first time ever. Taking the MSE attitude to my wardrobe and bathroom means that though I know i still want to look good and use some favourite expensive stuff, I also want to clear through the half used bottles of potions and lotions first. I've already cleared a lot and found DH's stash of cast offs too (who says men aren't vain!) but we have a coule of surfaces littered ith various stuff that does a similar job, so its time to get through it all.

DH might have a day off this week or next week, so planning a couple of nice things for that which might involve dressing up.

Also, on a nice note, despite battling with skin recently I was complimented on my skin today. It was hidden under makeup, but that I look good-skinned when made up has cheered me up no end! Also, no fewer than FOUR people complimented my perfume today, as did one of my doctors last week. I'm delighted as I layer one perfume with another and i know my hair products are different, so that the cohesive whole is good is fantastic.

Mrs Edwards to be, I've added the website of the supplier to the oil cleanse method thread for you, but the website is https://www.pukkerherbs.com for any one who dredges this up on a search. :)

I find myself constantly lurking and then occasionally returning if I am wearing an outfit I am happy with.

Am very excited that on Friday I will be getting the keys to my new house and consequently the majority of my wardrobe that has been in storage back! Also very excited to be able to unpack everything into my new walk in wardrobe(yes it was the major selling point of the house for me)

    Today I am wearing:

Grey drapped jersey dress - Primark kids, £5
Red boyfriend cardie - Primark, £10
    Black leggings - H&M, £7
Brown leather mid calf boots, TK Maxx £30 about 2 years ago
Navy and Silver scarf, Primark, £2

Am very inspired by all your blogs, think once I have the wardrobe back I may do something similar, think it would help to ensure I made an effort each day.

Grammargirl - Just been nosying at your blog, I remember purchasing some things from your Pinkplectrum site a few years ago through Myspace. Small world!

Argh, I just posted a reply and laptop ate it :(

moonbabe- hurrah for new house and walk in wardrobe! I'm jealous!

Blogging has helped my style and confidence grow so much (um, not saying my style is great haha :o)
You can't really see it on my current blog, but on the previous one which got hacked in August, you could really see an evolution!

Aaaaahhhhh! How amazing!!! What did you buy?! I loved those days - I was at uni and had so much spare time so could work on pp as a full time job. I'm sad I've let it slide for so long but definitely want to get going with it properly again. I'm planning a website makeover soon too, and lots of new stuff.

I'm so late today - sorry girls! I've been blogging/crafting/eBaying all night and am now posting during ANTM! Scandalous. Here's today's:

    Skinny jeans
Black oversized vest with cream detail
    Black polo neck
    Brown studded boots
    Gold hoop necklace
    Wooden bracelet
    Floral hair clip

    So tired - goodnight! xxx
