    Hi all!

Sitting here happily admiring yesterday's chazza shop (must start saying'thrifted' sounds more knowing somehow!) purchase.

A pair of brand new, unworn Diesel shoes. Lovely high heeled court in bright purple suede with a little bit of leather and patent contrast trim and a cute little lace up bow on the front. Perfect fit . Oh! I love them so much and they will be the perfect slightly quirky piece for brightening up all my black!

    £4.50 :rotfl::T

GG I like the fashionista/ blogista etc words, I think they sound fun and contemporary (to me anyway!!)

LIR ...hope you're ok, missing your chat! Very true what you said the other day along the lines of making the effort with clothes and appearance altering and improving mood. Having a trip to the hairdressers yesterday and wearing my lime green mac on top of my usual winter black, had me fair bouncing along, head held high and hair swinging! Wish you could capture a mood, bottle it and spray it on like perfume the next day sometimes!!

Anyway, inspired by yesterday's find, another quick chazza shop visit is on the cards now plus a browse at the Lions Club Charity 50p Book Sale before work.

    Enjoy your weekend all!

    LIR ......!
    bless you, I'm fine.

I have purpule leather, and ivory suede and pink stripe Deisle shoes which I got at TK maxx,. They are teeny bit to big and came missing ankle straps (something easily resolved wth antique ribbon r straps from other shoes..) I love them, they are really comfy and sturdy, I wore them on my date with DH last week.

I started my new meds testerday and feel fine but a bit odd today. TBH, health which had been improving so much has been a bit of a worry for a few weeks now, and I had some bad news from scans, so going through a transition time where I am examining priorities etc.

I've been trying quite hard for a coule of years to get o a position where I could work again, now I wonder how important for us, DH and I that really is. :) I'm also really counting my blessings I live in a country and have a DH where I have such choice, so I'm feeling very blessed ATM.

Well, on more clothes front....one of the advantages of the change in medication is that they think I should lose some of the massive amount of extra weight I've gained, AT LAST! I've managed to lose a couple of stone, then rebounded and got to a stage where I was saying I didn't care how ill I was I just wanted to be THIN again. :o

I have lots and lots of very beautiful clothes, some gifted pieces of ...posh wear...some just ''normal'' stuff that I have begun to despair I'll ever fit in again, and yet, these things, like htos for other people, hold meories for me, as much as being lovey in their own right. I'm going to have a lot thats not suitable anymore even if I do fit in it again (e.g. I don't think se through is ever going to work for me again!) but I'm just not ready to get rid f anything. I recognise that might sound all quite down beat, but I'm not. I am really a very , very lucky person and worries about clothes and looks are relatively minor...and I type with a smile, its all...pensive, rather than negative.

Today we were charity shopping (I go a teasmade, which I have wanted for AGES!) and I saw two knitted mini dresses on a market stall which I loved but won't fit into. DH just went and bought them for me and shrugged. He says If I don't get in them I cn give them away/sell them, if I do and didn't buy them I'll regret it and think of his time negatively.

I was going to get a new outdoors coat (ine really is disreputable) but I couldn't find anything I iked at the farm suppliers, so ...I might send some time online later.

Meanwhile, wore my mukers out its just so dreadful the roadsand avements are running with water. Only realised half way through the morning I still had my knee length socks ulled u OUTSIDE my jeans, as I wear them in the fields! Wore disreputable coat covering black vest and black cardi. No accessories today...eveyrthing is too windy.:) Got to head out into the weather again soon,

LIR- aw, bless your DH! Fingers cross that the medication helps and helps shift the weight (I gained 2 stone on one of my meds at one point)

The weather is shocking here. I had to walk to work in torrential rain and gale force wind,
it let up a bit this morning and we were PACKED with people wanting to get out and back before the storm returns for the weekend/in to Monday.
By the time I made it to my grandparents house I was crying from the effort of walking in it :o I asked my Uncle who lives there to drive me home in his van (which he did, bless him!)

    Wearing:
Grey jumper dress with pattern and pompom neck detail
Black long sleeved top under it
    (both from Ethel Austin)
    Black tights from Boots
    Grey cardi from Peacocks
    Black ankle boots: La redoute

I'm planning on staying firmly inside till this passes now!

    Afternoon, gang!

Glad you're doing well, Lostinrates. Great bargain buys, Bronnie - thrifting rocks!

What an awful day. Stayed over with some friends last night and managed four hours sleep and we're out again in an hour..hope I don't doze off!

    Tonight's outfit:
Bird print playsuit (£2 market selling samples)
    Black opaques
Cobalt blue suede shoe boots (TopShop 3 years ago £10)
Vintage 1960's leatherette grab bag (Charity shop £5)
Lots of gold bangles (Indian street market)
Gold cocktail rings and lapis cocktail ring (25p each car boot sale selling Accessorize seconds)
Handmade bird pendant (Part of a set of two, jumble sale 20p)
    Gold hoop earrings (Hand-me-down)

Photograph on blog (ignore the eyebags)

Had a read of Bronnie's blog suggestions. I liked the "showmeyourwardrobe" best as the girl looked comfortable in her own skin and not like a wannabe model plus she likes Florence and The Machine which has got to be a plus in my book!

    Have a great evening!

I'm feeling a bit under the weather too... although that could be the wine I consumed at dinner last night. Oh well, at least I enjoyed it at the time!!

Might nip to Sainsbury's for sustenance later (chocolate, coke and The Sunday Times Style supplement), but that's about it for this Sunday. I'm wearing:

Purple, yellow and grey graphic floral dress
    Black leggings
    Purple cardigan
Slippers (such a faux pas as they're brown and look hideous)

    :)

I've been wearing a fleece too! It is warmer today than it hs been though, isn't it? :). We had some repairs to do to various animal housing this morning, but part from that we've been wearing blankets and skin :)
  • Morning all, have made sure I had a busy weekend so that I had no time to linger on the upsetting things, so at least feeling too tired to be miserable today :)
Wearing a vintage purple and white floral dress - exact style of the popular Topshop "skater dress", but better quality lol..
Black tights and black glitter heels..
Pearl and black bead chunky necklace, £2 New lOok sale yday (I was very restrained!)
  • Morning all!

Work again today (although currently I am looking at shoes on the Internet), and today's outfit is:

    - Purple long sleeved scoop neck top (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Black and white houndstooth check tulip skirt (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Black tights (M&S)
    - Black Victorian style ankle boots with button detail (New Look)
    - Black wool mix military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
    - Multicoloured stripy wool scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
    - Silver initial necklace (Tiffany, Christmas present from parents)
    - Silver and diamond ring (Hot Diamonds, 18th birthday present from parents)
    - Silver and amber earrings (19th birthday present from boyfriend)
    - Silver watch (Storm, 21st birthday present from boyfriend)
    - Silver bracelet with black and pearl-type beads (graduation present from parents)

Perfume is Body Shop Aqua Lily, hair is straightened and then roughed up with Lee Stafford wax spray, and nail polish is Revlon Nail Enamel in Plum Night.

In work until half five, most of which will no doubt be spent hoping the phone rings about my interview last week, and then home to do my workout and watch University Challenge and I'm A Celebrity (I know I shouldn't like it but I do, it's my guilty pleasure).

    Happy Monday everyone!
