    *hugs for piratefairy*

I know its a strange offer from someone you barely know, but do feel free to drop me a PM or something if you want to talk any time.

Hi all. Piratefairy, sorry you're feeling so down. What's caused your sadness - is it anything in particular or just life in general? My best advice is tomorrow is another day. I always try to shake off the bad feelings of the day before I go to bed and forget about them completely by the morning.

Claire, glad to see you back and so pleased you're in fine fettle. That's a really scary thing to go through.

I've got tomorrow off work as it's the OH's birthday - so excited! We're having a nice lazy day, then dinner with his family in the evening. Saturday were going to an 80s fancy dress party! I've got a fab outfit, will share it with you via the blog on Saturday!

    Today's outfit was:

Floral and charcoal grey tunic top
    Skinny jeans
    Black pixie boots
    Purple cardigan

I'm so tired - no pics tonight as OH is at band practice so am snuggled up on the sofa for the night. Happy Thursday!

 I must be exhausted because I can't even see where!:)
  • Thanks for all the lovely comments! I shall be keeping a keen eye on things, certainly made me think.

Piratefairy - is it a seasonal thing?? Have you tried alternative therapies? I'm into Reiki, and am a level 1 which means I can treat friends and family, and thoroughly recommend it. Even a massage (which I also do, it's not meant to be a Claire advert!) would help to lift your spirits I'm sure.

Goanmad - sooo jealous of your fab jump suit!! I had a fab sky blue one that had roll up legs......

You'll find it tomorrow after a good night's sleep!! sleep-027.gif

Really enjoying following all your blogs girls!

Excuse my ignorance, but are the blogs saved for posterity somehow?thinking-006.GIF

They will be fabulous to look back on in years to come. All I've got are a few photos of my teens (mostly black and white and blurry!!) and a few more of my early twenties.

Glad your result was good, Claire. Hope all those who are feeling down at the moment can have a few be-kind-to-yourself moments tomorrow. This weather certainly doesn't help and I'm not happy with myself for feeling so apathetic atm.
I need less of this free-indifferent-smileys-438.gif and more of this free-cool-smileys-262.giffree-cute-smileys-457.gif

Saw a girl today at the petrol station with some really nice just-over-the-knee black suede boots, they were flat with a tasssel on the back. In the end I just had to ask where they were from. Primark again! They looked really good on her although she said they did get a bit scuffed. DD is off to the big one in L'pool to look for them this weekend.

Nice pampering morning later, full works booked at the hairdressers and am planning some ever so-slightly lighter bits through the front. Lorraine Kelly on GMTV had her hair cleverly coloured the last time I looked. Just a few bits light enough to catch and reflect the light and break up the solid colour, but not at all obvious. In the winter as my summer tan fades, I can feel a bit Morticia-like without my make-up.

Time for a last cuppa, then bed.
    Nite all!

Bronnie, I know the boots you mean, they are gorgeous!
I'm having some flat over knee ones for Christmas
the ones I wanted originally from new look I turned against, so opted for these instead

OOh those are nice, but I really don't have the legs for over knee boots!!

Thank you all for your kind comments and words, I think it's a number of things..I suffer from bipolar disorder, which is fine most of the time, but seem to be in the throes of a depression at the moment, and for some reason I had the great idea to tell my ex I still loved him, for him to turn round and tell me he doesn't want me anymore..So I just feel like everything is falling apart a bit..Must be stronger!!

Anyway, today's outfit is a brown H&M 50s style dress..
Purple cardi from Primark with turquoisey blue and white patterns, not quite fairisle, not rly sure how to describe, but have a pic to blog..
Purple bangle, TUrq and pearl beads
Blue tights (inspired by daisybella!! )
    Purple pixie shoes, Peacocks..

Should feel a bit more positive today anyway, all this talk of Xmas presents, I get to go in and pay for my new bike today!!
  • Hurrah for Christmas! Bronnie, still can't see the missing apostrophe - unless you mean on '80s', where you don't actually need one anyway :)

I'm still in my PJs. It's OH's birthday today so we're going shopping for computer games (I'm sneaking into Primark for sure!) and for lunch. Shall update with my outfit when I get off my butt to get dressed!

Bron - the blogs will be there forever, unless you delete them or technology changes dramatically, I guess. You're so right, they'll be such a great slice of nostalgia for a modern age! How exciting!

I'm really agitated today, must be the weather and lack of sleep. Kind of dont know what to do with myself.

    Wearing:
    Grey v-neck loose tee: Uniqlo
    Black harem trousers: Zara

    Um
    that's about it so far,
