Happy Birthday, Bronnie! Your plans for today sound fab._party_
What a rough and windy morning. I'm off to pilates later and am hoping my batteries stay charged for a gargantuan photo session for eBay this morning.
Today's outfit:
Another reconstructed faded black biker tee (Jumble sale)
New TopShop grey hareems (£7 sale)
Grey ribbed vest (TopShop via boot sale)
Silver tribal bangles and rings (India)
Urban Outfitters peacock feather earrings (Car boot sale)
Ylang Ylang essential oil (to hide the horrid biscuity smell from my fake tan)
I'll add hat, boots, coat, gloves and bag later!
Have a lovely day.

Goan- I don't know if I want to know your ebay seller name, or not...sense I might officially go broke if I did
fab outfit as ever!
I'm just off for a bath, got an appt at job centre later for a review (i.e. half an hour of remembering how utterly useless I am) so want to feel as good as possible.
Going to wear...
Black long sleeve top: matalan
Strapless floral peplum type dress: new look via a friend that works there
Black tights: boots
Black flat ankle boots w/stud detail: La Redoute
Plus scarf, coat, gloves when I go out.
I keep getting e-mails about sales, oh so tempting when I shouldn't be spending! My Mum did treat me to a skirt and some leggings in the New Look sale yesterday though0 -
Happy birthday Bronnie!
I've attempted to avoid 'grey' today as there is enough outside:
Vintage 50s red and white spotted a-line skirt (ebay)
White vest (Gap)
Cream cardigan (Sainsburys)
large red wooden beads on a red ribbon necklace (free with a magazine years ago)
silver swirl pendant (from Mexico)
black tights
thick black alice band (Primark)
Feeling good - I might even leave the house today
Have good ones x:beer:0 -
Happy birthday Bronnie!
It's not a good day in Min land - I was up half the night feeling ill, and now I've just had a phone call from my dad saying there's a letter for me from the job I had the interview last week. Owing to the fact I had no phone call I think it's safe to assume I didn't get it. Which I kind of expected as I knew the interview didn't go well, but it's still a big blow as I really really wanted it.
Anyway, owing to feeling rubbish, today's outfit is:
- Pink V neck jumper (Dorothy Perkins)
- White vest top (Zara) under jumper
- Brown tweed wide leg trousers (H&M via sister)
- Nude ballet pumps with black bow (Dorothy Perkins)
- Black wool mix military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
- Multicoloured stripy scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
- Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
- Usual jewellery
Hair is straightened then mussed up with spray wax, nail polish is Revlon Nail Enamel in Plum Night and perfume is Body Shop Aqua Lily.
In work until five, then going to get my bus and home to do a workout and generally chill out.

I suported DH through a very long slog of job hunting/interviews/rejections when he did his law conversion. Then he got one, and at the last moment decided it was the worng place for him, so we had a gut wrenching time of reassessing options and interviews.
I maintained that if he didn't get an offer it was jus one ticked off the list of places he wouldn't be happy working, though itshard to see at the time, if they don't think you are right then YOU wouldn't like it there. So its a good thing.
You know what? DH ended up at the place he really decided he wanted to be, the top of his list. Try not to get too down....its one step closer to finding the place you WILL fit in and enjoy working.0 -

Sorry to hear that, Min, especially as it was the job you really wanted. I'm sure with your determination there'll be a much better option very soon. xx0 -
Morning all
Happy Birthday Bronnie.
Minerva - Having not got many a job I have applied for in the past I came to hold the opinion that it wasnt the right job for me. As LiR says if they dont think you are right for them, then they probably are not right for you. Something will come up when you least expect it!
Todays outfit is making me feel slightly like I should be chopping down trees or herding up cattle, but heyho, its keeping me warm!
Skinny Jeans, Primark, £8
Fake Uggs, Matalan, £10
Blue and cream checked shirt with ruffle detail, Matalan, £5
Black long tshirt underneath, Primark, £3
Black boyfriend Cardie, Primark, £10
Hope everyone isnt freezing too much today!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0
