  • I'm going to make the effort to post on the thread more!

I'm wearing black leggings and a black long sleeve top with a short, magenta coloured jumper dress over the top. All from new Look, priced £5?, £5 and £18 respectively.

I have my new black biker boots on too. They were stupidly expensive at £100 but I had to buy from a specialist site for skinny calves. I love them so much though.

Jewellery is just a silver bracelet with abalone butterfly (is that right? like mother of pearl) and wedding/engagement rings.

GG- I hate post office people like that, drives me MAD.

cocktail- welcome :D (I wear MAC satin taupe everyday!)

Stumbled across a gorgeous boutique after job centre this afternoon, spent a good half hour nosying around
    *proud she spent no money*

    *eta*

Caroline, we posted at the same time! I dont think you can put a price on good, well fitting boots.
  • Daisybella - Thanks. I only discovered MAC makeup a couple of months ago and now am completely obsessed. I bought Black Tied and Satin Taupe eyeshadow when I went to the store in Birmingham and I love the satin taupe one and I too wear it every day. It is the perfect colour for me.

Welcome to the thread, Cocktailsavings and Caroline! :hello:
Cocktailsavings- hope the extraction is healing well. Are you a Midlands girl, like me?

Grammargirl - I can sympathise with your Post Office pain, what does the silly b*%$h think her job should involve if it's not serving customers and accepting parcels  ?
We used to have the same trouble with the main PO in town until we started using a little sub-Post Office. The guy there is an absolute gem, all the local eBayer traders drop their parcels off with him and pay the next day. Perhaps you could check locally and sweet talk the Postmaster into doing the same?

I did have a bargain - I found them on Bows and Buckles site for £135 + £7 postage, googled the style name and got them for £100 + £4 postage on Viva La Diva and with Quidco cashback. Also delivery was a week quicker on VLD than B&B quoted.

I've always had a problem with knee highs being loose but since putting jeans in your boots is fashionable they seem to have started making boots wider IMO.
  • Goanmad - Thank you. Yes I am a Midlands Girl - from Warwick/Warwickshire. Whereabouts you from?

Gold cocktail ring and large Accessorize wood ring (TopShop and car boot sale)
Purple slouchy hat 'cos my hair needs washing (TopShop sale £1)

    Have a good day!
