Evening girls. I've spent all evening looking at pictures of pugs on the internet - my OH has agreed we can have one when he starts working from home in the next few months and I'm so impatient! Hopefully we'll be able to rescue one from Dogs Trust. I grew up surrounded by dogs and I miss them terribly. I love the companionship. Aaah! Why can't it be NOW?!! :)

Just updated my blog, here's today's:

    Skinny jeans
    Vintage printed tee
    Blazer
    Pink Converse hi-tops
    Long beaded necklace
    Silver bangle stack

    Friday tomorrow - hooray!
  • A dog!!! How wonderful :j. I'd love another dog but it's not possible at the moment, due to us being out at work too much. We had a cocker spaniel but he had to be put to sleep in January due to ill health - miss having a dog sooo much. We have a cat now, and I love her to bits, but it's just not the same as a dog!

Aw, I want a dog so much, we were going to get one last year, but our kitty is so elderly it really isn't fair on him.

Mum and I just spent our last night of Dad being away glued to that, rather than having a movie night as planned :o

    Hi all!

Gosh! A lot of posts to catch up on from from yesterday A warm hello to new and returning posters!

Thank you for your birthday wishes girls .........you are all sweethearts!! :grinheart

DD and I had a lovely relaxing lazy day. Highly recommended.

Started the fizz on arrival, followed by a light lunch and later an hour of mini treatments (special offer package!).......back and shoulder massage, mini facial (was especially happy as beautician complimented me on the condition of my skin....improvement of which I put down totally to abandoning commercial cleansers and wipes at the beginning of the year and cleansing with almond oil, sort of OCM, but not complete method). Then I had a foot massage, whilst DD had a warming body cocoon treatment. Bliss! Went back to the lovely room for a cup of tea, shortbread biscuits and fell asleep for an hour!

Round 6ish we went for a swim, and did the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Back to the room for a long fragrant bath, more fizz and a pamper time. We had a yummy meal in the bar in the evening......and retired with final glass of fizz, magazines and a box of Malteasers!!

This morning we had a delish brekkie (which has kept me going all day!), lovely views of the Conwy estuary, despite the weather and a quick potter round town (in the rain and wind) before getting home at lunchtime.

Very theraputic ..... I must do it more often....feel very relaxed!

    Catch up again later!

    Love Bron

Me! It's my guilty pleasure, I absolutely love it. (As you can tell from my signature!)

GrammarGirl, that's really exciting about getting a dog!

Anyways, I'm in work again today, and my outfit is:

    - Two in one dress that looks like a grey scoop neck long sleeve top and a black and hot pink A line knee length skirt (New Look)
    - Black tights (M&S)
    - Black ankle boots with Victorian style button detail (New Look)
    - Black military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
    - Multicoloured stripey scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
    - Usual jewellery (birthday/Christmas/graduation presents from parents and boyfriend)

Hair is straightened then messed up with spray wax, perfume is Body Shop Aqua Lily and nail polish is Nails Inc Victoria.

I am currently having a bit of a train related panic as I'm supposed to be going to see my boyfriend in London this weekend but the trains are all a bit haywire at the moment. I'm hoping they'll pick up this afternoon though (my train isn't supposed to be until just before 5). I assume once I get to his we'll just have dinner and a good chill in front of the TV.

Happy Friday and have a good weekend everyone!

    Hello All!

Bronnie, your birthday treat sounds fantastic. My friend's suggested we do a spa day for my birthday in a couple of weeks, reading your post has totally convinced me...and isn't Conwy gorgeous?

I've never watched I'm A Celebrity, Strictly Come Dancing, that ice skating show or Celebrity Big Brother. The last time I watched a soap I think Ena Sharples was still in Coronation Street. When I worked I used to drive my female colleagues mad as I never knew who they were talking about, they said I should have been born a man!

It's a gorgeous day here and I really feel for those poor people in Cumbria.
Been swimming this morning and for a potter around town with my Mum. I've picked up the most wonderful vintage coat from a charity shop this morning, I'll try and get it photographed and put on my blog later.

    Today's outfit:
Refashioned skeleton on a Harley tee (Jumble sale)
    Denim leggings (sample sale £3)
Silver tribal rings and bangles (India)
Black filigree disc earrings (Car Boot)
Tan leather ankle boots with integral platform and 6in heels (Ex-Faith, local market)
Black leather collar with studs and jewels (Charity shop)
Vintage faux mink jacket (Jumble sale)
    Green 1960's beret (Charity shop)
    Green armwarmers (Present)
Vintage framed black bag with yellow rose print (Car boot)

    Enjoy your friday!
