I know! I would not recommend Nationwide...it has been a nightmare :mad: I need to call up this week about:
    • Why they haven't bothered to move over one of my direct debits? - Chased up
    • Why all my direct debits are helpfully called 'direct debit' on my statement? - Sorted. I was looking at the wrong type of statement online :o To be fair, it wasn't that obvious.
    • And arrange to have my salary moved over...for my sins... - Done

I'd just like my £50 now and to be able to go somewhere else. I've never known such a mess just by moving bank accounts.

Hmm, well the Post Office credit card didn't need activating and I can't find my Amazon card  It's in the house somewhere, I'm just too damn disorganised  Going to investigate if I can get another one.

Not a bad weekend's work really. The list isn't finished, but I'm getting there. The sore throat developed into a cold and at the moment, I look like Rudolf two months late, so I won't berate myself too much. I need to get some day nurse tomorrow, it's the only thing that sorts me out.

£24.94 cashback has been paid tonight from Quidco! I've already moved it to the Barclaycard before it's even hit my account :D

I ordered a new charger for my laptop.

I've decided I'm definitely going with Plusnet for phone and broadband. It should save me money on both and I'll get £38 cashback :D

I ordered a replacement Amazon card. As soon as it comes through, I'll buy something on it and hope I'm not too late for the £15 voucher.

Lots to do this week including:
    • Finish list
    • Sort NW issues - Done
    • Get car serviced and MOT'd and pray it doesn't need anything doing :o - Done :D
    • Move credit card balance onto new Santander Zero card - Done
    • Despair at Hastings Direct (possibly the only company less competent than NW??) about fuel vouchers - Definitely done. No fuel vouchers have arrived and I am despairing :wall::mad:
    • I'm sure there's more, but my head is foggy...I'll add later...

    Hello

Thanks for the get well wishes :A Feeling much better, thanks.

I've updated my massive list. Only a few things left. I wanted it done, but the cold waylaid me, so never mind.

Called up Nationwide today and they told me how to view my statement online so that I can see what the direct debits and standing orders are....oooops :o They're also going to chase up the final direct debit that hasn't been moved over.

Still need to move my salary over and still no fuel vouchers from Hastings Direct :mad:

No sign of the Santander Zero card or the Amazon card yet.

Car is being serviced and MOT'd tomorrow...hoping that won't be too bad :o

Got my MAC code from Be broadband, so I'll try and sort out moving that tomorrow.

Off to bed with a magazine now :D

Ok, new weekend, new list. Have things planned for later on in the month, but while I have these quiet weekends (and lots to do *rolls eyes*) I'd better get on with it.
    • Transfer CC balances to Santander - Done :D
    • Put CC balance on sig :o - Done :( As a mental note, in two weeks time I need to call up and cancel my Barclaycard and my mbna card
    • Move phone and broadband supplier - Done :D
    • Cancel AA credit card - Done :D
    • Activate Amazon card - Done :D
    • Order Mum's mother's day present using Amazon card - Done :D
    • Check quidco - Done. £55 from Hastings Direct moved to received :T
    • Form plan of action regarding non-existent Hastings Direct fuel vouchers
    • Do some grocery shopping - Done :D
    • Get petrol - Done :D
    • Still got that pesky pension stuff to read through :(
    • Sort out computer issues - Tried, I'll have to wait until next weekend to sort it out
    • Watch a DVD
    • Do intensive hair conditioner treatment
    • Clean kitchen floor
    • Tidy living room
    • Look for blood pressure monitor
    • Read matched betting info
    • Look for organic hair dye
    • Perhaps order myself something from Oasis with 20% off :o :shhh: - Done :D

Otherwise it hasn't been too bad a week financially. I haven't spent very much due to being ill for half of the week.

I found out how much my bonus will be and it's quite decent, so looking forward to that coming through in April. That will top up my 'house renovation' savings in my sig.

The car was MOT'd and serviced and all was fine, which is nothing short of a miracle given how many miles it's done. It's a little star. I :heartpuls my little car.
