Thanks Shoe Gal :A Feeling a bit better today, although I'm sick of people who have no clue what they're talking about giving me stupid advice :mad: If you don't know the subject you're talking about, it's probably better just to stay quiet than talk a whole load of rubbish and upset somebody.
Just watching 'One Born Every Minute' then taking myself off for an early night. What a good ideaThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
My sympathies on annoying people  & a big :grouphug: just because :A
Night night & hope tomorrow brings a better day for you

Had not thought of it as 1/6th of the year already:eek: I haven't even got to £1000 in my £20k challenge yet:o. I am the same with decluttering, it is as cluttered as usual here as the things I may have thrown out/taken to a charity shop are still here waiting to be ebayed/car booted. I am impressed with the lists you have been putting up and your quidco-ing:D. I am due £4.50 this month:( if you look back through the month you will see just how much you have got done, you are hugely underestimating yourself:)
I remember you said a few days ago about ebaying and how can it be that hard, I think I know how to do it now and I know the peeps on here can provide fabulous help, do you fancy having a go? It will help with the finances and I have been amazed at the stuff I had lying around or stuffed in cupboards that I can sell.:) It will also be a great help with the decluttering and I always find that I feel a lot better and more able to deal with everything when my living space is tidy and ordered. It would be nice to have some company on the learning curve if you want to give it a go.
If you are feeling stressed at the moment, that is the absolute worst time to stop your little treats:eek: can you put £50 ish from your quidco money aside to make sure you can still get yourself something? You need to have some nice things to look forward to.

Thanks Lula and Sarahb :A
I know! 1/6th of the way through 2010! How scary is that?? I'm not liking it too much so far. Considering it was meant to be my year, I'm quite disappointed. If the rest of it is going to be the same, I hope it goes even faster!
Sarahb, you might not have got to £1k yet on the £20k challenge, but you're doing loads! And £4.50 is better than nothing! I don't always get big payouts, although I think ~£25 should pay out this month, which is quite decent.
Yes, let's me and you do some selling Sarahb! I've got a few things I want to list on Amazon and some things to list on ebay too. I don't think any of it will be a quick process, but we can motivate each other with itI also feel much happier when my house is tidy and uncluttered (which it definitely isn't at the moment
)
Well, you'll be glad to know the little treats haven't stopped just yet...I got a bar of diary milk and a magazine on the way homeI am pretty stressed and have been for a while. Everytime I think things are getting better, something else stresses me out

Gwen - did you see that deal on the weekly email. 2L Bottles of diet coke have a code for a free copy of various mags. Plus Tescos and another supermarket (Morrisons?) have 3 bottles for £3 deal.
Would be a cheap way of getting a treat???
I agree with Sarah about allocating some money for treats. That way you don't feel guilty but also feel like you have a treat - which we all need in this time of carppy weather - I feel like Noah should be around here there is that much rain.....I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Thanks makeup! I did get the email, but only skimmed it at work. I'll have another look at the magazine offer, it would be a nice cheap treat.

I got a reply from Hastings Direct. They've sent me a cheque for £5 to compensate for the phonecalls I've had to make and they're sending me my fuel vouchers....hurrah!! They haven't arrived yet, so I'm not holding my breath. Their application terms are quite ridiculous as well, so if I actually get my fuel vouchers it'll be nothing short of a miracle *rolls eyes*
Pay day tomorrow! Woohoo!! Looking forward to updating my savings target
I need to chase up the Santander Zero card which I haven't received yet as I want to transfer my balances onto it. I was told I'd been accepted on the phone so I'm not sure what's happened to it
Looks like there's ~£25 to pay out from Quidco this month, which will go to the CC
That's about it for now.

:j:j:j Yey:D A selling challenge:D. We can make lots of money and spend it [STRIKE]wisely[/STRIKE] on treats:j I might try green met for books as well but to be honest I might not have the patience if things don't sell well, may be better to just pile up any I don't want to keep and take them to a car boot sale, I would rather get 20p each to get rid of them quickly and get the space back.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
