    Updated conclusion

Just wanted to update this post with the conclusion and say a huge thank you to everyone who helped and support me. :A
    :T :T
Shelter put a stop to the court action for eviction (I didn’t attend but I believe the sheriff chased them from the court in disgust). Financial Ombudsman’s were a great help they upheld my complaint regarding the dispute with Black Horse about interest charges in settlement figure, they refunded all interest charges, court costs and also awarded compensation for inconvenience and distress. The total amount was £5,200. :j :j :j
I am at the final stages of a Scottish Government Mortgage to shared equity application to settle the balance of the secured loan. I’ll still have equity left in the property, and its such a huge relief to finally get it sorted. :T :T

    Thanks again :grouphug:

any news on the lung transplant?

Thank you so much for asking Kaelea, :A

No luck yet, Unfortunately they discovered a hole in my heart during transplant assessment tests Apparently I’ve had it since birth and its never caused me any problems. However it did mean I had a heart defect which created further risks regarding lung transplant. Its all fixed now though I had heart surgery earlier this year and got a device fitted to cover the hole. I was disappointed  however Its better they found it sooner rather than later. :D

So that’s me on the transplant list again. :j :j :j

    Really pleased for you.

A special mention to Mrs Bumble as well in this thread. Simple, straight to the point direction that appears to have worked.

I wish she'd start posting again on MSE.
  • Great thread (apart from one poster, obviously :p)

gerryscot, keep us updated on your transplant - I wish you all the very best of health for 2011 :)
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).
  • Fantastic news! I just read through this post and feel so happy for you. The postings of one particular invidual made me feel sick to the stomach though. What a B£$%£&^D!!!! Still I am happy to see that the 99.99% of wonderful people who live on these boards helped you with support and advice.
