Eviction due to secured loan

I'm so pleased that there's been a temporary hold.
Will they provide assistance (obviously not financial) in working out a way to get you back on track with Black Horse?0 -
I am glad that the eviction was stopped.
However, you need to take action to prevent a repeat performance. You need to come to an agreement with this lender on a repayment plan. Only agree to something you can afford as a failure to keep up with a reduced level of payments will create a greater risk that the courts will evict in the future.
I'm looking into doing the New Scottish Government Schemes for the disabled Mortgage to Shared Equity Scheme, which will give me the opportunity after two years to buy back the % of equity the government take over . Hopefully I will have had my lung transplant by then and be able to commence some form of employment again. Fingers crossed..
Thanks a million for your advice and support. xx :T0 -

yesterday when I only spoke with them on Friday. They are an absolutely amazing organisation, extremely efficient, professional and provide expert financial advice. However, they are very direct and insist that the consumer understands that all arrangements must be realistic taking into consideration your circumstances and also achievable within your budget.0 -

Ignore the poster. I had posts removed from this thread as I had quoted he/she in my posts. His posts were rude and offensive but sadly he/she is not the only poster on here like that.
You were given great advice from others on here so as you can see the majority of posters are helpful and nice.
Glad you got everything sorted x

Thankfully the vast majority of threads offered extremely helpful and beneficial advice. However, even though I realize he wouldn’t have taken the slightest bit of notice to my comments and it wont alter his bad attitude. Being a typical feisty, strong-willed Scottish lady, I couldn’t hold my tongue and had to give him a piece of my mind.X X

If my brother were to get himself in a pickle by taking on loans secured to his house,I would not be as kind as I am here.He will get a hell of a telling off.Similarly,if I did something foolish like that-he would bite my head off. That is the way we were brought up-to be responsible. Not take on too many debts which we could not afford to take back. When we take on debts we are always told that we have to pay them back even if circumstances change.Which is why we take on insurance which can pay our debts off when we are out of work.It is easy to sit down and criticise Black Horse Finance. At the end of the day, they have to do whatever they can to recover the money they have lent out.I know it is sad when people are ill but if they were to write off every loan just because people fall ill, then their whole business will collapse.
Also I cannot understand this "taking equity from my home for home improvements"This is another con perpetrated by the Govt of McClown and the Scottish m a f i a sending house prices spiralling and making people think they could spend the equity in their homes when the whole HPI was a giant pyramid scheme which has now started to unravel.Whatever happened to the old fashioned way of saving up for home improvements.No-this generation has to have it now-no waiting.0 -

Nobody is asking for the loan to be written off!
Resonsible is one thing! Totally lacking in human empathy is another thing. You post things for effect and in my opinion are just offensive.
I hope that your life pans out like you expect it too, but if it doesn't don't be surprised if the people around you aren't full off human kindness. You reap what you sow.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Do not let offensive posters cause you stress.
They are the minority and you can see from the general feeling on this thread that you have support for circumstances that will eventually rectify.
Don't waste your thoughts or feelings on anyone that is out to cause stress it just isn't worth it. What goes around, comes around!I am a Mortgage Adviser

I was brought up the old fashioned way.If you want something you work hard and save up for it.Not get it on a credit card or get a loan.Hard work, honesty and integrity obviously mean nothing to this i-pod generation.
But we live in a PC society now.Everyone has to be mollycoddled and everything has to be sugar coated.Tell the truth and it becomes an offence.0 -

Collections officer for 3 years, chasing mortgage arrears and repossessing properties! I am as hard faced as they come! Your comments are nothing to do with being old school, I am old school!
As stated previously I just find you purely offensive with nothing constructive to contribute, you have abused a person who is ill through no fault of their own and they should not be persecuted for that.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Nobody plans to fall ill.It is an unfortunate event that comes without any warning.Which is why we have unemployment cover or critical illness cover. When we take out any loans we are asked to think how we may repay our loans if we fall ill or become unemployed. We are told that we have to keep up repayments even if we become unemployed or fall ill.
It is interesting that you are so busy being abusive and offensive yourself, you are overlooking these critical points.0
