It's been a week since BIW answered any posters, and people have been so good to herI let my mind wander and it never came back!0

...There's probably a good reason.
Superb thread btw. It's fabulous to see that there are still many kind hearted warm people around. I say this to ALL of you.....:beer:Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:0 -
I'm probably replying a bit late but I remember years ago when me and hubby were in a similar situation and we literally went out and bought beans and spuds to last the week! It's amazing how many different meals you can make out of them - chips and beans one night, jacket potato and beans, mash and beans - you get the picture, lol!

You can get through this - I've been known to use tea bags twice.
Also the comment about using shower gel for shampoo works well too, I've done that loads of times when cash is short. A bag of potatoes usually contains a few larger size ones that you can use for jacket potatoes - you don't have to buy special ones.0 -
I've had a really bad couple of days with one thing and another but this thread has made me realise that there are some lovely people out there - I don't want to sound cliched but it has renewed my faith in the general public and embodies everything I have come to know and love about MSE!Mortgage Free since January 2018!0

Have read the thread and do feel that you have all been lovely, I like consultant am a bit concerned and disappointed that BIW has not been on line in a week. Maybe she is doing lots of good deeds in payment for all your good deeds!! I certainly hope so!0

I posted some things to her and I am sure she would have got them.
I think she may not be well as she was saying she had a rotten cough and she doesn't have the internet at home.
