    I have a complaint to SelectSpecs regarding of a additional payment for the delivery.

    I have created two tickets on selectspec already more than 5 days ago and no response.

    Can someone support here?

    Selectspecs decided to reply to my ticket 10min after I posted the information on the forum.

    The response as following is not again acceptabe:

    "Thank you for your email, apologies, we are very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the service that you have received. Your item has been sent in accordance with international shipping, unfortunately we cannot be responsible for or control custom charges and clearance, apologies. Kindly show them your invoice that we emailed to you as a description of your parcel.

    Dear SelectSpecs representative please see the below:

    Sorry but I do not agree with your statement. When you announce that you deliver for £4.00 you should mention that you are not responsible for the control. For your information, I have been charged £40 for the delivery and clearance here at Switzerland. The amount could have been only £10 if Select Specs had sent the Invoice with the package and for that reason they charge administration charges.

    So in this case is SelectSpecs responsability to send the Invoice with the package to avoid this kind of situation.

    I am totally unhappy that I have to resolve everything and make the calls with the Post from UK and Switzerland to receive my package.

    Still no response from SS on my ticket 3 days later and the rep is regularly logged in on this forum - are you avoiding dealing with this issue?
  • I've bought glasses from SelectSspecs in the past without any problems but an order placed in early August still hasn't been delivered and I've had no response to an e mail other than a routine acknowledgement. In case anyone from Selectspecs is still reading these postings my order no is 184390

    Apologies for the delay in replying, I was on leave. It looks like your glasses were shipped to you on the 2nd September so you should have received your order by now.

    Apologies for this, your email was replied to yesterday as we were catching up from the weekends orders and emails, this sometimes causes a short delay with replies to email.

    From what our optician says there was a delay with the manufacturing of your lenses, but I know for certain that these are being made up for you at the moment and should be shipped to you shortly. Sorry about that.

    Not at all, I was on leave for a couple of weeks. I can see your tickets have been dealt with so there is no need for me to comment further.

    I have made the additional payment for prism, and left messages on the helpdesk and the order remains on hold? How long will I be waiting to recieve the glasses?

    I'm starting to wish I used another company now, the reply said they are waiting for my glasses??? (I sent my oakley frames for a re-glaze)

    I sent them royal mail recorded, and the tracking information says they were delivered on tuesday!!!! ( I still have the receipt)

    Have they lost my frames????
