"I know that Guy'sDad will simply attack me for not answering his questions again, but hopefully people will focus on why they read these threads in the first place and look after their own interests rather than end up on the same path a lot of others have already trodden with this organisation."
No - given up trying to get a straight answer. Since you keep dodging the straight question and try to hide behind some obscure reason not to reply, preferring to refer to other CPW companies - whom I agree have pretty poor reputations - then I can only conclude that you have not had any problems with cashback payment from mobiles.co.uk (other than slow repayment) otherwise you would most certainly have cited them and that instead you are tarring all CPW companies with the same brush.

You may very well be proved to be right - I am no fortune teller - but on the factual evidence so far, your attacks on Ben and his company seem to be based on experience you have had with other companies in the group, a fact that you have tried to obscure throughout your posts. But, hey, let's not let facts get in the way of any chance to knock a CPW company, however they may be trading.

So, if you has written that your experience of repayment from mobiles.co.uk was that they were late payers but you get the money within 58 days and you had no direct evidence so far about actual claims being refused payment ( and, yes, there is the original ambiguity of the OP's claim which mobiles.co.uk have now conceded), however warning MSE members to beware as they are part of the CPW group and you have had a deal of trouble with other CPW companies, then that would have been a proper helpful reply.

But, regrettably, both you and Quentin are using your experience with the other CPW companies who have no say in how the mobiles.co.uk management run their subsidiary to cloud your judgment, and unfairly tar mobiles.co.uk with the OSPS/E3Save brush and then personally cast aspersions at Ben who does appear - at least to reasonably objective members - to be trying to help when things go wrong.

Any "aspersions" are based on multiple inconsistencies and (there is no getting away from this) a complete disregard AND denial of their own t&c. THIS is completely separate to "other cpw companies" on the one hand, YET quite typical on the other. Why don't you try pinning HIM down since he has still never answered my question which I asked long before yours)? YOU may be content that any dealer (and YES, I AM talking about MOBILES.CO.UK!) ignores it's own t&c but I am not - and neither should any other customer be. I have stated why I will not go into details on my experience - but it has been mixed. "Ben's" (whether it IS "Ben" or someone else coming up with the slippery nonsense - even that is hard to establish) responses ARE very similar to (for example) E2Save's and that in itself should set alarm bells ringing. However, people knowing what cpw are like on many fronts can ignore all that and attack me if they so desire. Sensible people will not.

I suppose this thread is too - or don't you bother to read any other people who criticise this company from their personal experience too??

However, it is there continual, repeated moaning about this company in particular that is annoying. They are the proverbial dog with a bone.

Ben, the rep, is trying to help individuals and appears to be heeding some genuine moans about the quality of service. Any of these companies that offer cash-back rely on a percentage of customers not claiming or being late. As long as they are honest and don't resort to the dishonesty of the infamous CoolNewMobile, who told customers they hadn't sent a claim in when they had evidence they had (me for example), and they have reps who are prepared to post and assist members on this site, they deserve a chance to rectify past mistakes

I am quite content to be accused of being a dog with a bone when:-

    1) They ignore their own t&c

    2) According to them don't have any t&c (since the helpful "Ben" states repeatedly that the t&c aren't t&c but merely FAQ (a laughable claim by anybody's standards) - and no-one else has even attempted to answer my question as to where ARE the non-existent t&c on their website "aren't" in fact the t&c

    3) Many other peolle on various threads over period the "helpful Ben" has been active have been posting numerous problems (all pretty basic) with this company

    4) All these issues are VERY similar to other cpw companies and the way they treat t&c and customers

    5) They rarely answer their phones (and haven't for weeks by all accounts) or (sometimes) emails

    6) "Helpful Ben" et al (or not since he won't be pinned down on that either) hasn't actually helped everyone even on here (read Silk).

I could go on but my teeth are getting tired!

Well, you're obviously using them sparingly. I am sure others will do the same with their wallets.

No need to. They haven't got anyone rushing to defend the indefensible. I won't shut up so I suggest you put your blinkers back on!
