I keep feeling quite detached about the wedding which worries me, doesn't help when people keep asking why I'm not excited. Maybe when I finish work or once we have picked everything up/had everything delivered it might be different. I have just been working out what we have left to pay, the bulk of everything is next week with a few other bits on the day. It has got me a bit more excited which is a good sign.

Woke up this morning and pulled something in my neck/upper back which has become more sore during the day, I hope it goes as quickly as it came!

Booked loads of beauty appointments the other day. 4 lots of nails for mum, sister, niece and I the day before the wedding and appointments for my sister and I to have some false eyelashes put on. Not my idea and I protested a little at my sister initially but I trust her (unlike the make up woman) and at least I won't have to wear make up and risk it running!

I can't believe that it is only 23 days to go!

Had another dress fitting today. I nearly cried when I tried it on, because I was so happy! it fits perfectly now (I'm lucky that my weight doesn't fluctuate too much), all that's left to be done is some minor adjustments to the length. Final fitting on the 16th July. Eek! :j

5 weeks today! eek!
OH finally did the passports, so they will be sent off on monday, and also found his passport too, although I was quite looking forward to a 5 star hotel myself lol!

I have a tiara, which I also got from monsoon and a pair of gold sandles from next and a friend of mine is going to make a necklace to go with the dress.

I have also found a website that sells white star wands, which I'm going to get for the 3 girls that are coming, I was also thinking about getting the ladies (5 of them) wrist corsages, and the men silk rose button holes. Shuls really get them soon, I think!

wish id thought of the cadburys thing! our theme is cadburys purple too! missed a trick there didnt i!

only 20 days to go, had my first wedding based nightmare last night. my dress was badly ripped and FIL2B turned up in a brown checked suit!! not as bad as it could have been i guess!

we didnt think of it til we realised we had ordered one lot of purple spot sweet bags and one lot of purple stripe paper bags,
i am so looking forward to getting a cadburys package!

13 days to the wedding and im still in a flap about the extra bridesmaid problem (see the next daisy belt bridesmaid dress thread for info if your interested)

Oh my gosh - its getting close now!!

Went to see the inlaws to be last night - which was the last time we will see both of them together before the wedding now. I've got my hen do a week on friday and MIL to be is coming on that, so I will still see her. Seems strange seeing people and saying "see you at the wedding"

Our best man is having a baby, due on the 4th July (we get married on 23rd) and theres no sign yet! Am hoping the baby will come early so that they can all come. Best man says that if necessary he will come on his own and drive back after the party, but obviously it will be a lot nicer if they can all come as a family. They will only let her go 10 days over her due date, so the baby will definately be here by the wedding.

I made the fruit cake and sugar flowers for the cake to cut this weekend. Still need to decorate the cake still, but so far so good. Really pleased with how well it went.

Hope you get the bridesmaid problem sorted soon curious... Must be the last thing you want to worry about with so little time to go!!
