! Starters

Scallop + vanilla bisque with chervil + cream
Rare beef carpaccio with truffle oil, rocket + shaved parmesan
Gravadlax – sweet-cured salmon – with cucumber salad, mustard + dill sauce

Main Courses
Corn-fed chicken breast – summer vegetables, new potatoes, salsa verde
Hake – herb stuffed, orzo ‘pasta paella’ with saffron, crayfish tails, spinach + chorizo
Pork tenderloin – mustard mash, new peas, wild mushrooms, tarragon + cream

Puddings
Hot chocolate fondant pudding with vanilla ice-cream
Crème brûl!e with fresh berries + Gravadlax
Eton mess with English strawberrys

Evening food that will be offered by the waiters on trays:

1. Confit duck spring rolls & hoi sin dipping sauce
2. Riverstation fish ‘n chips
3. ‘Pizza” with grilled goats cheese, olives & roast peppers
4. Salmon dill & crème cheese puff pastry parcel
5. Crab & saffron tart
6. Mini Yorkshire pudding wih rare-roast beef + horseradish

3 weeks today for me!!!!!!

we finally sorted out a nice car to get me to church, (we did have someone lined up to do it but he was the fiance of a friend, they were due to get married in august and we were all planning together but sadly they split up so obviously i needed a new car!)
my ex neighbours are car dealers and said they will sort us something a bit nice and the husband will do the driving for our wedding present.

Also arranged with my brother to take all the photos at the church (will get someone else to snap the ones hes in! lol) hes a right shutterbug so wont be able to stop himself taking pics all day so there will be thousands of pics at the end of the day. but at least i have arrangements with him to take the shots we want at the church.

finally sorted my sons page boy outfit, he just needs shoes, its harder than you think to find nice black boys shoes in small sizes without paying a fortune.
we made the signing picture (that we are having instead of a guest book)
just got a few more signs to make and sort out the pictures / signs for the tribute table

there arent many more things on my to do except "pay pay pay" ugh.

Managed to get some MSE bargains today Pearl and diamante hair slides for BM, reduced from £3.50 to £2.45 real bargain from peacocks, plus 3 for 2 at Claires accessories for pearl necklaces, earrings and pearl hair twirls for 4 bridesmaids all under £30!

about to go to church to hear our banns read for the 2nd time,
got my BM coming round at lunch to help me into my dress and do it all up properly for the first time (wish me luck!)

well im really happy with how it went,
we did it up properly for the first time with the massive netting underskirt and it all fits, the skirt makes it so much easier to walk in and fill the dress out to a proper shape.

the only thing i wasnt 100% happy with is the boning over my left boobie it seemed to be a funny shape and didnt go right like the other one, that needs fiddling with... nobody wants to look like they have one witch t!t!
and i wished my lace shrug was just a little bit bigger at the front to cover up a little over spill at the arm pits (im a big girl and ok, one side is just fat but i have a condition on the other side and its much bigger, its always covered....until now)
but in general im a lot happier after yesterdays fitting.

my 3 year old sons waistcoat and cravat turned up today, and he looks gorgeous... he just needs shoes now
his present came too, its all slowly coming together.... as i suppose it should with only 19 days to go
