ahhh its fine, I havent spoken to her for a couple of years... i just despise the way she uses her daughter like a weapon,
shes a little girl not a way to score points and get your own way! she only had the kid as a fashion accessory anyway so nobody is surprised shes not mother of the year....

anyway, im off to fix my veil to the sparkly hair slidey thing... wish me luck

Hope things aren't stressing you out too much curious. I thought my sister would be a pain through all this as she hates it if I am in the limelight and not her, she is younger so always thinks she has to prove something. She has been amazing though, maybe my mum has had a word but I had some strong words early on and she bucked her ideas up so I hope she stays that way.

I am not sure where the time is going but I believe I get married in 19 days, I feel quite calm still so hope that stays. Going to play about with the front cover of our menus today and see what ideas I can come up with to show OH later, it is the only thing we are doing ourselves really. I also need to print out labels for our place cards to check they work. We are double checking RSVPs for 2 couples although we have made our own decision on them and they are only invited to the evening so if there is not enough food it is their fault not ours. Will email the hotel final numbers and table plan tonight or tomorrow after that and then there are only a couple of things to do before the last week.

My new passport arrived the other day but we were out so I need to pick that up today, hope they don't want ID as I don't have any, that is it! Also need to chase up travel insurance as they have sent through a new schedule in my married name but put Miss! I don't want to risk anything being wrong in case we need to put in a claim and they refuse it.

25 days to go!

H2b is due back from stag in 2 days - its been a whole week already - missed him so much! 2 days after he gets back I'm off on my hen for a long weekend. Really excited all the girls came over last sat for food and wine and they have printed t-shirts with my face on! With 'Boners last stand!' as Bone is my maiden name with all their surnames on the back - they've also got a fancy dress theme which I'm not allowed to know about.

Had BM fitting also last Saturday - they all looked so beautiful and complimented all their sizes - they all need to be altered and due to plans the shop owner is willing to open on a Sunday morning when shes normally closed - such a fantastic shop and service! The pearl necklaces i got from claires also looked lovely.

I'm still up and down with excitement as is my diet still, keeping to the special K diet until i get home at 6ish and then really struggle :-(

i just finished off my gift boxes, we got personalised glasses and they are in plain white boxes, so i tied them up with some fancy purple ribbons and made a sign to go on the front of each with a white printout glued to a silver card backing then attached to the box and they look really nice

i also just nearly glued myself to my veil.....
and the table

Haha, are you wearing the veil whilst finishing off the gifts?

This just made me laugh as I was sneakily making favours whilst 'trying out' my tiara and shoes the other day and H2B nearly died laughing when he walked in!

This rainy weather's making me nervous...

i had visions of me coming into church on the day, one hand stuck to my veil the other dragging my kitchen table down the ailse

Future SIL has just been on the phone to try and organise dinner before the wedding. I don't have much free time due to work but we have managed to find a free day. 18 days to go and I need to do a couple of bits this week, didn't manage to cross anything off my list yesterday.

Curious I shouldn't ask this as it is the question that is annoying me the most but are you excited? I am intrigued to know what it will feel like closer to the day. Mentioned to OH yesterday that I am looking forward to it being over so people stop asking that question but I'm sure after it will change to "how does it feel/does it feel different to be married".
