Curious I shouldn't ask this as it is the question that is annoying me the most but are you excited? I am intrigued to know what it will feel like closer to the day. I have moments of excited butterflies when i realise its not just months or weeks away anymore but its a week on saturday, like... i have my make up trial this friday, but then it cant be friday because its booked for the week before the wedding and it cant be THAT close... can it? lol

Its weird but the thing i love most is people telling me about their outfits, i get the feeling people have been stressing over what to wear so when they feel the relief of finding the right dress they have to tell me... one friend recently had an operation on her wrist and is now wearing a plaster cast, they offered her several different colours to cover it and she chose the one that matched her new outfit, i loved that!

but... i still have 5 things on my to do list (all small bits and bobs) and final payments are due tomorrow but we cant get the money til friday... and OH has to sack the dj (cos he appearntly couldnt care less and we have found a new one)

yesterday i got everything for the gift bags for the rooms for the staying guests- really happy with what i have got. just need the gift bags now

dress fitting tomorrow!- we will see how that goes!

rang my uncle and arranged for me to go in to do the order of the day and table plan-- but its on the 13th july-- 10 days before the wedding-- he said it will be fine and dont worry--- but ahh thats close!

last night we emailed the dj with all the songs not to play/make sure he plays and the first dance song-- happy thats sorted

also i brought on itunes last night the music for the wedding- so need to put that on a cd now

the main thing im worried about now- is printing off the childrens activity booklets- printer at work is rubbish- so may have to email to someone (maybe my dad) and get him to print them for me

4 weeks on saturday!!

Does it make you all nervous that im first and my wedding is next week? that means its your turn soooooon! lol

I did my bridesmaid bouquets last night, all ribboned up (and yes... i nearly glued myself to those aswell)
the three new BM dresses were delivered to mums, early! and she said they are gorgeous, so thats a relief.
hopefully i will get some really good post today... hurry up postie!!!!!

I am more excited for you that nervous for me Curious. I am not too bad at the mo although not sure how I will feel next week when I have a week to go! (Typing that makes me nervous!)

Final invoice in from our venue this morning so need to pay that by the weekend.

i feel much the same as i did last week, or even last month
my head doesnt seem to compute that its next week, a week saturday, 10 days, single figures tomorrow....nothing!

im doing a countdown in pictures on my desktop too...

ohhh curious, I'm so excited for you. and still not feeling it for me (39 days to go! ) seems so very odd. got a holiday first, which i'm getting excited about, i guess the wedding will be more 'real' when we get back.

can I ask has everyone got their dresses? my shop phoned me today to say that my dress arrived faulty so Alexia have to send another one from china - which wont arrive until 14 days before the wedding at the earliest!
I was dreading the wedding anyway, particulary cos I couldn't raise the money for a gastric band so was unsure whether it was going to fit anyway, but now if it comes that late there won't be time to do anything about it

Haha Curious, it does make me half excited and half nervous that you are soooooo close to your wedding. Will feel very wierd when my fellow July brides are getting married and I am still waiting :rotfl:

Got a few more bits n bobs sorted out. Been to the reception venue and it is currently still available the day before and the day after the wedding, which will make setting up and taking things down so much easier and less stressful. The owners will ring me if there are any changes.

Hair trial and dress fitting on tuesday. Not sure what to do after my hair trial. I am showing my mum, and bridesmaid. But I kind of didn't want my OH to see it I don't think. And on a tuesday I normally do my zumba class, and what with me still trying to lose a couple of pounds i don't really want to miss it (plus I love it and get withdrawal symptoms if i do miss it ever :rotfl:) It seems a waste to just tie it back, and i also would like to see how long it stays in kind of thing. But then, its also just a waste sat inside watching telly with it or whatever.... My friend had her hair trial for her hen night, but then everyone saw it before the wedding - which i didn't really want.

Hen do is next weekend - very excited about it now! Altho one of the girls has pulled out I think. But she had paid her money so i said unless i can replace her then i can't give her any money back, and she was fine with that.
