as of this evening our order of service is all printed and folded and i did the kids gift bags this morning...
right.... whats left.
pay tennis club on monday - our woman wasnt there the other day.
take balloons and weights to decorator
take ribbon to floristy friend
eyebrow wax and shellac nail painting on tuesday.
wedding rehearsal on wednesday night.
pick up our sons waistcoat & cravat from dry cleaner & pick up the boys suits from moss bros on thursday,
pick up flowers on thursday
sort the sweet buffet - wash all glass ware and fill ready to put out (friday probably)
finish cupcakes

inbetween all of this my daughter is going to university for a day to "graduate" (its the end of a few trips she was made with her primary school class mates) she is also singing in 2 shows one of which we are going too, friday is also sports day, we have a spa appointment booked on thursday and of course all the family and friends are arriving towards the end of the week... and... i have a few meetings with school as DD had her hand slashed open by a boy with a blade out of a pencil sharpener...

Had a lovely bridal shower, civilised but fun! Absent friends sent a beautiful flowers and chocs gift to my mums, a lovely surprise, and everyone enjoyed the party games and cocktails, can't sleep, it all feels so real now and Mr H2B is still in Amsterdam so no-one to calm me down!

I had an unofficial hen night on friday night Went to a queen tribute band night and it was ace! My proper hen do is next weekend, and we are going to a bunk barn & going out for a meal, and pony trekking. My mum, MIL and 5yo daughter are all coming, so it will be much more civilised. So twas very nice to have a bit of a boozy and dancy type night :beer:

11 days to go for me . Still doesnt feel real . Quick question for opinions i have got my Fiance a few wee gifts such as groom cufflinks and socks and a few other things. Now the last time i will see him will be this friday and we get married the following thursday .
Should i give him his gifts this friday or on the mroning of the wedding. His best man hasnt be the best so cant really rely upon him to pass it on. Opinions please

I would give him the gifts on friday, but tell him not to open them til the morning of your wedding.

my dad is really upsetting me now,
he's not coming to the wedding rehearsal cos he cant be bothered.
he doesnt want to do anything in church like giving me away hes just walking the down the ailse with me and seems to think all focus will be on him...
he doesnt want to wear the suit and is planning on changing into his normal clothes (ie grubby trousers and jumper) asap at the reception, and hes also getting ready at my house because he would be too embarrassed to get ready at his and then walk the 5 minutes to here incase someone sees him in the suit.
he doesnt want his photos taken
he wont speak to any of the rest of the family
hes not doing a speech

basically hes making me feel like the whole thing is an embarrasssment and he wants nothing to do with it...

I can now say that I am getting married next week (13 days)! Woke up this morning very stressed for the first time, managed to get back to sleep and woke up feeling better. Going to pay the hotel in a bit, will probably be the last time we will be there before my stay the night before.
