How long do envirofone take from receiving a phone to showing it as received on the site? I posted on 22nd and it still says WAITING. I got proof of postage incase it all goes wrong.

this is the link to the form to fill in for trading in with Phones4U. You fill all the details in yourself and send your phone off WITH the paperwork . Cheques are sent out within 28 days of receipt of your handset.

I send 2 phones off to MOPAY as per their e-mail confirmation to me on 21-08 in plain jiffy bag and addressed as informed by their e-mail to Freepost Mopay.
As of todate no confirmation of receipt or my e-mail requesting the confirmation.
I am not happy-how long does it take

Has anyone had there phone rejected by them??

I know they have to meet the following:

a) should power-up (turn on) and be in a working condition

b) should not be crushed or water damaged although may have some mild cosmetic damage such as light scratching to fascias and surrounds

c) should have its battery and memory card (if your phone came with one originally)

d) should appear in our online guide

e) should of be UK / European specification

but what if I don't original equipemnt covers and keypads etc??

how do you get the envelopes? I have 3 hardly working (non-envirofone) phones...

Ask at customer services I think, haven't done it for a while thro Tesco but I'm sure thats where they are

just a note quidco now do £1.49 envirofone cashback and with tesco you can donate £5 to charity or £2.50 clubcard points and £2.50 charity

Has anyone any experience - good or bad - about selling their old mobiles on this site? They seem to pay more than other sites. I have a few to sell. Any experience shared would be appreciated.

Once you have read Martin's article in the opening post hopefully you might be able to make some money from your old mobiles or will find a charity to donate them to.
