I think they might do that as they say on the website that any that cant be used are just recycled and ones that can be used are sent to the poorer countries. You can always email them and ask before you send them heres the link to there contact email. http://www.envirofone.com/contact.asp?sessionid=0 -

This is the lnk for Tesco:

(they do say that they'll give you 500 points IF THE PHONE TURNS ON, so technically you should be OK but who knows - I guess you'll just have to try it and see);)0 -
I just used Mazuma Mobile and they were great. Next day replies for both request and payment. Got £45 for Nokia 7610. Highly rec0

Have anyone used https://www.cashmyfone.com before? I have sent my mobile to them nearly a month ago now and no reply. I called and emailed and still no reply. And yet they were so eager to receive my phone, I received reminders from them both by email and phone.0

hi, i read this thread for advice when i was choosing who to sell my 3 old mobiles to and thought i'd give some feedback...
it was a very close one between envirofone and mazuma but i decided to go with mazuma simply because they were offering more money! i sent just one phone off first to test them out, a nokia 6680. i sent it by special delivery (this was my choice and my work posted it for me so i didnt have to pay!) 24 hours later mazuma had confirmed it was all working, another 48 hours after that i received a cheque in the post. which i have cashed 5 days ago so if it bounces i'll be back to eat my words :rotfl:
the cool thing is you can track our orders online in a kind of account, so you know when they have received it and when they have sent a cheque etc. they also give you a non-working price. all my phones were working but they seemed reasonable prices for broken ones.
but yeah, i wanted to say this service is great - FACT. i just received another cheque for my 2nd phone today, and am about to submit an order for the 3rd  oh and before you say it, i am not a spammer!!0 -
I have also looked through all the sites to sell my old mobiles. When looking I found Mazuma to give the best prices and they also paid for damaged phones. I sent my order in and got my welcome pack 2 days later. I have sent my phones to them as they told me how to with very clear instuctions in the pack, I got my cheque 4 days later. They even sent me an e-mail to let me know that the phones had arrived and the payment was on its way. I was very pleased with the service and prices given.:jThanks for any help and advice given

Does anyone have any guidance (done a quick search) on how one prepares their phone for submission? Does anyone know if there is a way to reset a phone to wipe all traces of my contacts, photos, music, etc..?0
