Looking for advice, my son has just moved into an ex-council property and the Gas and Electric meters are in under stairs cupboards, the main cable going into the main fuse is leaking an oily substance, makeing a right mess on the wall, there supplier at the moment is Southern Electric is this there problem to sort out or if not who's? is it dangerouse and is it a big job to sort out.

I've received my rebate chq from SP today - so all cleared up -HOORAY!
robt7893 - suggest you start a new thread since your query isn't anything to do with SP.

Hi mishmarsh321, and welcome to MSE.:hello:

Yes I've seen this before (sometimes). Trick is, logout and log back in but ensure the box saying keep me logged in is ticked first :)

Then remember to log out manually at the end of your session if you're using a shared computer.

Mishmash when typing any long post on any forum, I would suggest typing the post in Word (or any other WP program) first, then cutting and pasting it in.

I've learned that the hard way. :)

I've not had my cashback either. Like you it was due end September, although there was a problem with the gas transfer which I thought had caused my delay.

Would be interesting to know if anyone has had the cash yet?
