    Hi Keys,

Sorry for the delay - I've been on holiday for a couple of weeks. Its best to post anything account specific at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums so my team can take a look into it for you.

Merlin of Camelot, could you let me know what tariff you were on and what you have been moved to? It sounds like this could be related to the migration of customers from the old billing system to the new billing system. Some old legacy tariffs are not available on the new system therefore it was necessary to change the plan for a small number of customers. All affected customers were sent letters in advance of the changes being made. I apologise if you did not receive your letter detailing the changes. Again if you could post at https://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums in the customer services section then we will be able to take a closer look for you

    Cheers

Confused by all these messages as I have not heard anything from TalkTalk about changes to my tariff, so I thought I'd better check my details. I was on the 'Talk International Plan' for £9.99 per month + line rental. Their new Essentials package is £3.50 cheaper per month at just £6.49 + line rental. I never make international calls and rare national calls during the daytime, therefore I've phoned TalkTalk and have asked to be changed to their new tariff. This seems to contradict other people's comments as this will result in a price reduction for me, not a price hike! Have I misunderstood and made the wrong decision???

    Hi Jojo3,

The Talk International plan at £9.99 is an anytime plan where as the Essentials tariff is evening and weekend. To make the Essentilas tariff anytime you need to add a boost that costs £4 per month. If you don't use the phone during the day then there is no need to add the boost and you save some money every month.

Many thanks for your response. As local calls seem to be free at anytime, this package will suit me just fine!

Thats right - UK local landline calls are free any time of the day and national landlines are free of an evening and weekend.

    Hi Emma

I want to ask some questions on the members forum, but I cannot register as I don't have paperwork with my account number on, how can I get this please?

I've been with TalkTalk for at least 5 years now.

    Thanks

    Hi Treacle44,

Do you have online billing? Your account number will be detailed on your online invoices if you have. If not you could call customer services on 0870 4444 1820 and they will be able to procide it for you.
