This thread has made me laugh :rotfl: Izal - yuk! always reminds me of public lavatories they always had that! you know the old fashioned cold tiled victorian ones down below in the middle of a street somewhere! most are closed now.
I usually buy asda shades, then when the andrex is on offer i buy that, at the moment ive got Charmin cos that was the best deal at the time. I dont buy the value brands though.
I usually look at how many sheets you get on a roll and do a comparison that way to work out whats better value/price.0 -
Is it just me or has anyone else been brainwashed into buying only white loo roll?? I can remember being told from way back that coloured loo roll caused problems. What exactly I can't remember
To edit my original post, Lidl luxury loo roll is on offer this week with my local store, it's £2.99, down from the original £3.19 (not the original £3.99 I said before)

Andrex for me everytime. When i'm wiping my !!!!!! i want something puppy soft. I don't want to be using that school tracing paper stuff where you end up with a decorated back and i want something strong enough to prevent my finger going through and a nasty surprise.0

We used Lidl's cheapy stuff, comes in a green flowery pack, 12 rolls for £1.20, seems much stronger than all the other cheap nasty stuff.
I can't stand all the thick expensive stuff.0
