Does anyone know anything about a postage strike this weekend? Apparently (according to the news on Absolute radio) 25,000 postal workers are going on strike

So, the question is do I post today or wait till Tuesday? The last strike all but 1 of my parcels arrived late but did arrive and I just sent out another to replace the missing one which to date hasn't appeared. 0 The last strike all but 1 of my parcels arrived late but did arrive and I just sent out another to replace the missing one which to date hasn't appeared. 0

ive not had my post from last week, a postman came yesterday and brought somthing that was posted 2 weeks ago...
if they go on strike again its just gonna mess everything up for me =(
royal mail should at least compensate their customers its really unprofessional to get ignored by such a big company, and i appreciate thats how the staff probably feel as well.0

I would go ahead and post them, it's not a national strike like it was last time, only certain parts of the business are affected.
So this post and panicked tbh I'm a postie and hadn't been notified of strike as i am on holiday, but if you read those articles it's only certain offices affected. 4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 I'm a postie and hadn't been notified of strike as i am on holiday, but if you read those articles it's only certain offices affected. 4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

            aw !!!!!
The thing with this is, it depends on who you believe.
From the papers some of the practices the union and staff want to keep should have stopped a long time ago and wouldnt exist in a real private company. On the other hand management have closed down local post offices at a frightning rate to cut costs in rural areas where they are needed in the community.2023 wins - zilch, nada, big fat duck. quack quack,0

eg in edinburgh its just dalkeith(saturday) so one tiny delivery office
friday,AFAIK the edinburgh mail centre is running with just distribution drivers on strike
however strikes are no great shock if the way my office runs is an example0
