Saucy Melissa75 has a Bind it all. Hopefully she can point you in the right direction. :) Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your eyes

CT1972 Popping your things in the post today. Sorry its taken a while x Love your new house card too

Gemm and Glittermum Im so pleased you have posted about the glue pads, i was looking at them the other day thinking i should get one. Wont bother now and will think of alternatives ;) When i use glitter i tend to get it everywhere and find it for days afterwards, if i had to leave it in situe for any length of time. The results could be messy:rotfl:

He's "& son" because my blog is "teabag & son" altho he now has a blog of his own, He's 9.

Thank you. I think that's brilliant. I was expecting him to be about 12 or so. I really hope when I have children they share my passion for crafting. Will be a great way to spend time together.
  • Just wondering what's happening with CP? Shall we start all the swaps again next month? I'm sure we've all got lovely stash that we'd like to share! Don't want to step on anyones toes but think it would be nice to get it going again - especially as we've got lots of lovely newbies to join in!

Do you want me to start one now ? That will give people chance to sign up to CP etc ?

Im sure CP people will come and sort challenges/ card and atc swaps :)

I am typing one handed so please tak eno notice of any typos. I finally finished that handbag card off after making such a mess of it it didn't look to bad. i will put it on my blog tomorrow.
The problem is the person liked it so much they have asked me to do their wedding invites  she wants the cards to be inthe shape of a butterfly. we are talking at least 100 cards so am i best to buy in the cards already in the butterfly shape or should i buy/borrow the fantasy glitter girls board? or is there a cheaper option? Where is the best place for lots of card stock, the paper mill shop?
I don't know what she would want on the front of the card.

Can anyone give me any pointers? She has sort of left it up to me and i am just to give her a quote for it, i know some of you have done wedding invites etc

    here is my handbag card

That handbag card is beautiful louby, sorry I can't help with the invites as I have never done something like that before.

Glittermum - Beautiful cards on your blog!! Can I ask what you use for your heat embossing? Do you use some kind of ink/embossing pad then use the powder? I bought a clear mini ink pad which is supposed to be able to be used with heat embossing but haven't tried it? When I emboss it all seperates and goes into blobs rather than a crisp image like you have?

&son - Wow some lovely cards you have there!! well done and what a lovely kind thing you are doing!

DTB - You must be really proud of him!! he is lovely and it is all down to you!

Saucy - Hope your eyes are ok? please be careful with them, I have horror stories of my own which started off with my eyes!

CT - Lovely cards on your blog, can't wait for my robo to arrive! :j

Thriftyscotslass - Not sure if it will help but I saw somewhere that if you punch through foil it will sharpen it, and if you punch through waxy paper then it will lubricate it? I have to admit I have had problems like that with my first martha stewart punch!

Jigga - welcome to the most expensive mad house on MSE, we hope we don't bankrupt you too soon! :rotfl:

Think I have missed loads but I am not working well on 2 hours sleep so apologies if I have! xxx

  • Quick reply to Rusty - on my way out! I use a versamark watermak pad, but more oftner than not it separates on solid images so I'm on the look out for anything better -I actually did 2 layers of embossing on the fairy though which evened it out a bit!

Thats a great idea Choccy, I was just looking on there last night in case I had missed something.

Rusty sorry to hear you had another carp nights sleep.

I just couldn't get to sleep last night, so I made a Pink and Brown card for the Allsorts Challenge which I will post in a bit. When DH got up this morning he wanted to know if I had been cutting paper on the guillotine as he could hear it
