CT Fantastic cards on your blog, well done to your DH too:T

Louby your handbag card is gorgeous, well done to you for persevering. I have no idea about the wedding invites, sorry, I think buying the butterfly cards would be so expensive but would you really want to sit and cut out 100! Maybe you would get some from a website that sells kits just for weddings. Sorry not much help really x

Quick reply to Rusty - on my way out! I use a versamark watermak pad, but more oftner than not it separates on solid images so I'm on the look out for anything better -I actually did 2 layers of embossing on the fairy though which evened it out a bit!

Thankyou! I think mine is a versamark water thingy aswell so I will give it a go. If you do find anything else could you post it up ;) Enjoy your day x

Flourgirl - can't wait to see your card!! :j Pink and brown are a favourite with me at the minute, not sure why though! I am absolutely shattered today :( DD is really poorly which is why I was up most of the night,I even kept her off nursery today! hoping she will go to bed this afternoon so I can bulk cook chilli and shepherds pie to freeze!! hope you get a better nights sleep!

I am typing one handed so please tak eno notice of any typos. I finally finished that handbag card off after making such a mess of it it didn't look to bad. i will put it on my blog tomorrow.
The problem is the person liked it so much they have asked me to do their wedding invites  she wants the cards to be inthe shape of a butterfly. we are talking at least 100 cards so am i best to buy in the cards already in the butterfly shape or should i buy/borrow the fantasy glitter girls board? or is there a cheaper option? Where is the best place for lots of card stock, the paper mill shop?
I don't know what she would want on the front of the card.

Do you have a Cuttlebug? You can get butterfly dies but I know the ones I have don't make very big cards (about 10cm square).

Sorry Gemm :o I've found the best thing to do is throw the glitter on and leave for ages before taking the excess off - otherwsie it all seems to come off pretty quickly!

Living up to your name? :p x

Hi again, I think you may be right I have no idea of where pm preferences etc., are - I will try to find where to go!!!! ikki

Ps: I did notice that others had replied to your question, let me know please if you sort this.

    Hi Ikki

I've got the sandwich right, I've separated the circles, left the foam in the little cut outs, and they're now cutting on card although not the thickest yet, I'll experiment a bit more later, along with the rectangle one which I haven't tried yet. My B plate looks rather like a banana now :rotfl: , it certain seems to curl more with the NS dies than with the Nesties.

If you go to the top of the page you will see "Welcome Ikki... " and you will see "Private Messages" in blue, click on that and it will take you to your Private Message page and on the left is Your Control Panel. Go down to Settings and Options and click on Edit Options. There is a box (second one down) for Messaging & Notification. From there you can set your options about receiving email notifications of replies on the threads, enabling Private Messages and email notification of them, etc. Just choose what you want and click Save Changes right at the very bottom. Hopefully you'll then be notified of what you have chosen.

    Hi girls

I'm not ignoring you all, just totally bogged down with things here at the moment as well as a very poorly elderly mom with some decisions to make about her. I'm trying to keep up with the thread and have some play time too, still practising with the Nellies and almost cracked it :T (the method not the Cuttlebug or the dies :rotfl: ). I really want to have some me time today as it's my birthday (not giving my age away, it's getting scary ;)), I didn't get round to opening my cards till 11am .

Will try and catch up later.
  • Sorry if this sounds utterly stupid, but where is CP and what happens in a swap?
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:
